I dont understand why people like these "new" VW models they doesnt look better than last models, in fact they look very cheap! Can you tell me what is the difference between this new GLI (which is NOT A SPORT CAR) and the normal jetta besides the steering weel!?

What were they thinking in painting the launch car in RED??? All great German motorcars are painted in SILVER. Send the marketing guys on this one back to either Ferrari or Ducati where they obviously came from..........

I really like the look of it, but from what I'm seeing it's still a 200hp engine. Anyone want to point me to something that says that this has more power than my '06 GLI? Why doesn't this have the same engine that the R series gets? The Jetta weighs more than either the Golf or Scirocco, it needs the same or more power.

I hate the shape of the new Jetta's. I love my 04 cause it's not so stretched out looking. Stick to small, better gas mileage. Better design, in my opinion.

@VectorFanGT It uses the same 2.0T that the MK5 GTI/GLI used, so it is gas. VW/Audi badge the Diesel engines with TDI.
