Michael Moore is a hero of the people, his documentaries are "one of a kind" originals. He single handedly fights for the rights and opinions of the people, for the people, and by the people. If anyone has ever seen his amazing documentaries, you'll agree. My suggestion to all who have not seen him, WATCH SICKO! This guys a fucking idiot. File sharing is NOT the same as letting someone BORROW a movie or whatever. When you file share youre making a COPY of that item and distributing it with the whole world whoever wants it. When you lend someone a movie youre losing somethin for a while. While only ONE person gets it

Michael Moore is just playing to his dumb audience here. Truth is he does believe in copyright laws. He copyrights everything he sells. He puts copy protection on every dvd he releases. So full of crap. He really is.

Copyrights are needed so someone else doesn't steal the credit of your creation. As far as I know, there aren't different "Plans" for copyright. You don't just check mark "Yes, let people download my content from random sources" or some such. If there wasn't a copyright, people would be able to legally distribute his content, and make money off of it. Legally.

So yes, copyrights are needed, even if you don't agree with everything they do.

Interesting how you hate him and his views, and therefore presumably support the system as it is now. Yet you're quite happy to file share and download films even though it's against the principles of capitalism.

I love file sharing but judging by that statement you might wanna re examine your views a bit. A society where information is freely exchanged is very much an anarchist or communist type of society. Google dot communist manifesto, you may be surprised to know you agree with it.
