You know what's really ironic?

Most of the woman who go into PP are actually going for pap smears and the like, only about 10 percent go in for abortions. SO not only are the protestors stopping woman from accessing abortion, they are also preventing woman from being tested for life threatning diseases like cancer!

I have been a sidewalk counselor, and I agree that it is very confrontational and too much judging goes on there, (i didn't engage in yelling out things) I felt by the time women get to planned parenthood for an abortion it is too late, I am not Catholic nor do i agree with there pro-life stance, I believe in contraception but not abortion and I also believe that we need to help women who are pregnant and need

Thank you for your efforts. I regularly go to the PP in Austin and counter protest the fundies. I have a poster board sign that says " IGNORE THEM". It leads to quite interesting conversations.

wow I loved this video. I am touched and inspired! It was 0 biased to anyone in my book. volunteers are not only brave, but heros to someone out there who has no one else in the moments of just approaching the entrance of a clinic. having to go to the clinic in the first place is truly scary for some. PP (volunteer or staff) makes efforts to help ease the tensions. Thank-you, esp PPCNC
