everyone that switches to tuba thinks that... but no one chooses to do it. this year we had 3 in my section, one marched baritone last year, the other marched trumpet but is primarily a french horn player. i was the only one with over 6 months experience on tuba

not really, we had 56 winds and were generally AAA or AAAA, small for a texas band but slightly big for NC bands. we just had nobody interested in tuba, two players moved, two graduated, and that left just me. a lot of new high schools were built in our county, so most went to different high schools. we could still be heard better than most tuba sections of 6 or 7 in bands barely bigger than us, we were alright

our band had 56 winds and we were 3A or 4A in every competition we were in this year.

maybe you're thinking of 56 members (winds, guard, percussion) instead of just winds.  our band had 97 total members

that makes no since...your band must not do BOA or state competitions cause they wouldn't even consider you for 3A, we have 193 in our band and we are classified as 4A, 3A isbasically your not big and your not small, 97 is not a big band for NC

no, we didnt do BOA, we werent good enough lol. We are big for our area. we are the biggest in our county and yes, we do usually compete in 3A. We competed at Appalachian State this year as a 3A band and won grand champion, beating 3 4A bands.

the notes for trombone are C,D,E flat,B flat,A flat,G..those are all the notes but you can make up the rhythem into your own version..the fanfare is called TANK in case you are wondering

Yall are awesome, im in 8th grade atm and im a trombone player. I have always been first chair, even at all region my 7th grade year, and i got together with 2 tubas a baritone, a barry sax, and myself, they were all in high school and we played something similar to this together with the melody like an octave higher and everything else played regular making it sound awesome (Bariton Trombone meldoy, and Barry sax and tuba bass, I LOVE THIS SONG!)

hey yall played that very well but on your descending/ascending eigth notes you should make sure you all use the same articulation and make sure that you are making your notes stacatto and also subdivide for you wont slow down or get out of sync!! other than that good job and I like the way that you all play!!
