  • This new-build 4-6-2 Darlington is now on Royal duty as Locomotive 60163 of the British Railways fleet.

  • I remember on Mother's day 2009 when I saw it pass through Leeds station. I thought it was a phantom train as no-one seemed to be phased by it apart from myself. It was magnificent.

  • @04jhowarth It is a truly magnificent sight. I have seen Tornado quite a few times since and i am still very impressed.

  • BEAUTIFUL. I'm an American and prefer big steamers like SP 4449 and SP&S 700 but the Tornado is B E A U T I F U L!!!!!!!
