is there any chance this would work for getting out very small (caused by the end of a pick, whoops.) dings in the clearcoat? (I mean REALLY small microdings.)

Hi itsnottruerufus, yes it should help with that. At a minimum it will soften up the appearance & make them less noticeable. If not real deep then they could come out 100%. Thanks.

I have a 20 year old flat-top with some bare wood warn and a classical (French polish) that someone really punished with a pick putting pits along the grain under the soundhole. Both guitars have wear scratches, are top custom jobs with finest German spruce tops and rosewood. I bought a set of micro-mesh up to 12000. But am afraid of any lubricant, even olive oil. Then I saw your video, Whadya think? How do pits and scratches go away using your stuff. Meguiars polishes have long been used.

HI gliksmar77, if you have bare wood showing through it might be risky to polish it. If I'm reading your message right it sounds like you have bare wood showing. The polish works on the clearcoat. The polish generally works quite well on pick scratches, but won't remove dents or any indentations in the wood.
