The word "experience" here however is impartial and does not infer that anyone has "actually" left their body but instead experienced the effect subjectively

Are we "Out of Body" in dreams?

The biological brain-mind states of dreams, hypnosis, OBEs all exhibit the same neural expression so what defines the "Out" apart from some subjective anecdotes :)

Used to work at Mindwaves in Atlanta Ga...we used the Hemi-Sync tapes there...I now have a Photosonix machine and a Vibrasound table..love to lay on there and do the binaural beats...great way to float downstream for a while :)

I fell into a deep meditated state using one of these programs for inducing sleep named Lucid Dreaming. I had an out of body experience. I felt my body slowly growing like 5 inches all around me and I was completely numb. I felt like it would eventually take up the whole room if i continued. I ended up having a strange vivid dream related to one of my most troubling experiences as a child but I didn't freakout. The next day my frontal lobe kept tingling so I used the pain relieving version.

Nice video and thank you for the information (clarification for me) on "escape velocity". I would love to hear more about that. I wonder if Robert Monroe wrote about it in his journal (things that weren't published)? Wouldn't it be great if his journals were published?
