Well different strokes for different folks. At least they all ended together. Santana took OYE and put his own stylem to work, even if he stole the song from Tito, but you could tell it was OYE COMO VA. If what you are both saying is that anyone can take a song, play gibberish and put a title to it and pass it off as the real thing. It's one thing to improvise but it's another to butcher it and claim it's artisitic. Maybe you both better get new batteries for your hearing aids. LMAO

That is called improvisation my friend PalladiumMambonick. You don't have to play note for note the exact same cover btw. I personally like it better when an artist playing a cover adds his own flavor to the song.

@Mounhas well said my friend, i had the honour of seeing all 3 legends perform,tito at a jazz festival in saratoga,brought the house down with this number ,santana jamming with miles davis,u have good taste in music,can i recommend the john butler trio, great aussie band , chek out the song ,ZEBRA,performed live at the wave aid concert in australia, enjoy

Performers such as Jose are true to their craft. They really don't need the glitz and glam that is so prevelant in "plastic" Hollywood. Their talent speaks for themselves and those that know true talent will have already recognized them for their abilities
