Great music played by a legend. However, the crowd could have been a bit more enthusiastic. They are just sitting there like there watching a high school band playing during lunch break. Come on people, get into it....great sounds, great grooves, and overall great music!!!
To mister negativity.. this is the "solo section" of the song. if you were any kind of musician or a true music lover you would know that the melody had already been played and established. This is a group of seasoned musicians blowing over the changes and enjoying themselves. there is only one Lame ass.. and it's YOU! xxx b.c.
Two years ago I reported Estefan Enterprises to the FBI, but the biggest disappointment was when GLORIA and EMILIO ESTEFAN confessed that they knew about, and agree with, everything that has been going on in their companies.

Well different strokes for different folks. At least they all ended together. Santana took OYE and put his own stylem to work, even if he stole the song from Tito, but you could tell it was OYE COMO VA. If what you are both saying is that anyone can take a song, play gibberish and put a title to it and pass it off as the real thing. It's one thing to improvise but it's another to butcher it and claim it's artisitic. Maybe you both better get new batteries for your hearing aids. LMAO

oh please! An artist, A TRUE ARTIST like Jose, MUST add his creativity, arts, and virtuosism, if He can, and Jose can do it, many times better than the originals
That is called improvisation my friend PalladiumMambonick. You don't have to play note for note the exact same cover btw. I personally like it better when an artist playing a cover adds his own flavor to the song.
@Mounhas well said my friend, i had the honour of seeing all 3 legends perform, tito at a jazz festival in saratoga, brought the house down with this number ,santana jamming with miles davis,u have good taste in music, can i recommend the john butler trio, great aussie band , chek out the song ,ZEBRA,performed live at the wave aid concert in australia, enjoy
With all do respect to Carlos Santana, he has never nor will he ever be in the same league as Jose Feliciano. He is in a class on its own. Thanks for posting.
And don't forget - Jose Feliciano is blind !! I listen to this over and over and it has the feel of Santana's original interpretation of the Tito Puente classic.
Performers such as Jose are true to their craft. They really don't need the glitz and glam that is so prevelant in "plastic" Hollywood. Their talent speaks for themselves and those that know true talent will have already recognized them for their abilities
Super fantastic, Jose´. Sound like Carlos used to sound back in the happy 60's and 70's. This rocks maximum !!! José is truly a great singer and last but not least guitar player - and mind you he is blind !!

A song written by a legend, made famous by a legend, and being played here by a legend. Doesn't get much better than that amigos.

Aw, Santana and Miles Davis, you lucky man, and Tito as well!
I shall certainly check out your recommendation. Obrigada/thankyou.
I find Santana & Shorter at the 1988 Montreaux Jazz Festival inspiring. :D
