Do you read sheet music on the songs that you play or do you listen to them. I also play flute and listen to the music on my iPod and play with it. :)
@ITZmelissaRose I read the sheet music mostly if I'm recording it, unless there's some music missing off the sheets then I'll play it by ear :) When I'm practising I'll just play by ear though and mess around :)
What kind of flute do you have? Mine's about five years old now and I'm thinking it's time to get a new one and I'm debating about what kind I should get.
@kamiuchiseldestgirl5 I got an Altus 1007 this year for my birthday so it's a professional standard flute to basically last me forever now :) I had a Yamaha 211 for 9 years and it's still pretty good sounding, Yamahas are good :) I really like the Altus sound, it's nice and warm :) It's best to go to a music shop which has a lot to choose from and you can try some out, it's what I did :) Sankyos are bright sounding flutes and Gemeinhardts are pretty nice too!
