Hi, I really like your version, I play one step down from you, in G, it seems that you play in A. It sounds really good. I am having trouble setting the delay, I put it a about 550 ms and it sounds alright, but could you share you time? Also, what are the settings for the compressor, I have a Dyna comp, so, I guess I would have to adjust the sensitivity.

@sinnombre2008 Just keep practicing and you should improve at your stretching. If they are physically to small to stretch that many frets then keep that position and just jump between the frets.

This was one of the first fast(er) paced arpeggio type songs that I every learned. I didn't realize how hard the the fingerings were back then because everything seemed difficult. Now, a few years since I've last played the song and a bunch of lazy habits learned, I played it again and it's hard as hell. I start to cramp after the first chord switch.

You do a great job with the tune. It takes effort to play this one clean and without timing hiccups or fret buzz.

@trayflip81 and not that expensive either. Dunno what model is that coz my Fender came with a humbucker. around 500 bucks, so that model must be cheaper. Unless its an american version, then its over 1000.

At last someone who actually uses the correct fingering. Careful on the frets though. If you want to be Andy Summers remove the trem bar. He played it on the tele and never needed it. He also used an echo unit which is trade mark of his sound. Good lick

I was thinking the same thing, he's right on but too high. I thought the song started on fret 4. I thought all the police songs were A440. So if he starts on fret 5 he's 1/2 step high? Yet he claims he is 1/2 step low.
