I was standin' pretty close to ya'll at this point. I had the privilege to see this dancer being cheered-on by veteran buckbancer, Thomas Maupin. "Ya! Yep!" "Yeah!" He stepped off the platform, seeming a little discouraged by a very limiting, tilted ground. Within a moments notice, however, something changed. I'll never forget it; Master Artist takes on role of active cheerleader and mentor and with the same heart and fire he would at his finest.....Swannanoa Gathering 2011.
