Actually the goth scene started in the 80's with gothic-rock, post-punk an especially new-wave was popular in the goth scene.
I'm not a goth myself but my ex-girlfriend was a goth. I never really liked the goth music myself. Personally I'm more into Scandinavian death-metal (which is NOT gothic).

Actually the goth scene started in the 80's with gothic-rock, post-punk an especially new-wave was popular in the goth scene.
I'm not a goth myself but my ex-girlfriend was a goth. I never really liked the goth music myself. Personally I'm more into Scandinavian death-metal (which is NOT gothic).

@maiartheking Can you please tell me why you think gothic people are devils or monsters? You should first learn what gothic exactly means before you say such things about goths, because I think you don't know anything about gothic, do you? And I personally see gothic like an artistic subculture, which understands the beauty of darkness instead of fear it. (And I'm no discriminating asshole or something like you are, you're more devil than I am, I think...)

@NightmareCries y do u confuse styles and philosophies with feelings?I was completely depressing (not that now im not) and was cutting myself all the time but this has nothing to do with my style the music i hear and what i believe 2...When i go out i ALWAYS dress in black and put on many accessories,listen to gothic music and especially gothic metal but dont put myself in a "culture"because of these...Each 1 of us is unique and should not try to be the same with the others...

@DONOOFTIME that confused me a lil but what i mean is that being "emo" is just a fad started off somewhere. Gothism is not a fad as people believe. no in fact it is a life style chosen by choice. don't get me wrong i have friends who are "emo" but its a fad. places like hot topic where around way before emo was instated as a place to hang or dress there. I'm just tired of people going oh your listening to graveworm or korn you dress in black you pray to the devil!! no thats just bullshit!

Some people like the looks, some people are depressed. That's why it shows stuff like this video, sucide, :/ not everybody cuts themself and do sucide if their emo or goth.

You are the person who runs away from his own feelings, you're trying to bring down the people which dare to stand out, because you're to weak to do that, and you call us differrend because we respect our feelings of fear and pain. I also think you're the person who's messed up in the head. Take a day or two to think about this, it's difficult to understand when you don't know the feeling.

@maiartheking it's a choise, I respect people who like listen to elctronic music and wear coloured clothes and I respect goth people too. They think that scary things are beautiful, it's only a point of view. I'm not goth, but I like them and I think that there are motherfuckers among goth and among people who listen to other music too. Dark people is only more... Dark XD (I hope my english is good, I'm a fucking Italian guy <.<)
