Thus, if a husband gives up financial support to his wife, he undermines and negates the support, maintenance and help to his wife, and the judge may divorce his wife from him.
Then, Allaah mentions in the verse the quality which a Muslim woman must have. He Says (what means): {…Therefore the righteous women are devoutly obedient (to Allaah and to their husbands), and guard in the husband's absence what Allaah orders them to guard (e.g. their chastity, their husband's property, etc.)…}.
And, anyway, the way the Quran generally refers to women is insulting. It refers to them like children. They are vulnerable, weak and stupid individuals that need men to provide and protect them, and like dogs they must be loyal to their husbands.

The problem is that many of these verses contradict each other and most Muslims have never read the Quran themselves, they only hear what verses their imam tells them which he picks and chooses according his ideology. Moderate Muslims will use the moderate verses and conservative Muslims the strict and intolerant ones.

I'm referring to what Muhammad supposedly told you came from "God" himself, the Qu'ran. There are verses of the Qu'ran which are extremely evil and immoral, but this is supposed to be the word of Allah. Scream in CAPSLOCK all you want, that doesn't make you a credible expert. Sorry.
