I am usually turned off by many channels and knobs . . . . not in this case for some reason. This is one good-looking amp.  Looks like a piece of military field equipment. Much respect Mesa.

Got one ... incredible amp. The roadster-amp may sound complicated, but just use one/two channels/one mode and adjust with guitar-volume controle and maybe a great pedal (Xotic etc) ... It sure will deliver, but will you ... ;-) A Boogie will outclass a lot of musicians; the amp can always keep up but the more you'll put in, the more will come out ... its amazingly simple, actually :-))

does anyone know, can i get the exact same sound out of a roadster, as i can out of a dual rec, or is there even a slight difference in tone, i tried a dual rec and found myperfect tone, but the roadster has more channels so for versatility i thot maybe the roadster wld better suit my needs, but not sure if it will sound different? someone please help!!!!!

@guitarsbunch347 There is a difference in tone indeed. The Roadster is a little bit darker sounding overall and the high end is smoother...

the Roadster is a Road King without Progressive Linkage stuff and other rear panel features that was a pain to navigate. The Roadster give you plug-and-play way to enjoy a bunch of footswitchable preamp choices. The Dual Rec I have also but the Roadster gives two more voices that I can't get on the Rec. If looking strictly rock/modern rock, I vote dual rec; if looking to play a variety from Fender tweed on up, this is the ticket. I play in two bands: one top 40 one modern rock; this does it!!
