  • wow.

  • Awesome version. Perfect tempo and all the rawness and tragedy that the song dictates. Thank you.

  • Im not even Scotish....but I love this song

  • Um there's no missing d in the title.

  • @yden25 the title in the actual video is missing the "d" on "Lomond"

it's about 9 seconds into the video

  • I Love this version of Loch Lomond - it's a pity I can't put it on my ipod.

  • ye can, youtube downloader, then convert it using .... youtube downloader :):):)

  • Or you can also go to listentoyoutube(.)com and use this link in the site for them to extract the mp3, thats how I got the song, I really don't like youtube downloader.....

  • These guys do this so well.

  • Great song, great sing...

  • Nice harmonies. Good version, thanks. Oh, nearly forgot - love the trousers :-)

  • i like the way they sing this. its a sad song, about a captured scottish rebel fighter sentenced to death by the English. The song is a letter he wrote home saying he'll always return home, even after death to his homeland through the 'low road', whereas other people take the 'high road' home

  • agree with u...

for what i know low road mean spirit way not for the living...

    the living use high road

  • i absolutely love this song, but i can't find the mp3 version of it nowhere...:(

does someone have it?i would be very thankful if someone help me finde it!

  • It's available on the album "The Celts Strike Again" by Orthodox Celts :)

It is a very beautiful song indeed.

  • Are you sure about that, I just downloaded the one by the Orthodox Celts, and that female lead sing just slaughtered the song, like she really ruined it, badly. She made it suck and blow.

  • I had a great deal of German pride until about 10 years ago when my brother told me that we were Northern English. No wonder I wore plaid pants in the 70s. Nice song..... Rudd

  • Very nice to hear this song again.

    Great job

  • Good stuff.

  • Well, to be honest the singers are great, but I was not keen on the song. It was not the original song and the words were changed to suit themselves, so as far as the old scottish song goes...not quite! Their pronunciation was shocking to say the least, but it was very clearthey are not scottish Old is Auld, Lock is actually Loch etc etc

  • this song is great and the voice, the guitar everything thing is brilliant mate... cheers . .. greetings from INDIA-SCOTLAND.

  • They sing that song with respect! As they should. That song is Scotland. Really, none with a mind want's to piss off Scotland.

  • Hey guys! Great version of that song! Thanks for sharing and greetings from Germany!

  • Loved the Canon video. Nice work. I wish I could say that was me on the guitar ... it's a good buddy.
