@InvaderMeki1 nero is the guy from DMC 4 the game ^^ he has a devil arms ya well if you play this game you should know him but i see you haven't play it alright just one thing to this game i played it for 5 hours than it was boring and i'm allready done :D

@InvaderMeki1 Nero, the protagonist of DMC 4, is the son of Vergil and an orphan since some time before DMC3. He was taken in by an order who worship Sparta and eventually given the rank of Holy Knight: a warrior of the order who hunts and fights demonic forces. However, after an injury to his arm and witnessing Dante kill the order's leader, his 'demon side' awakened and branded him with the Devil Bringer (that's why his arm's messed-up)

In short: He's Dante's half-demon orphaned nephew.

@krat0s9001 Although Im not saying that Nero is related, or that he's not, it is widely accepted (though unproven [thanks a lot, Capcom, leave us all hanging...]) that Nero is Vergil's illegitemate son...not to mention that Nero's DT mode has that astral demon that is uncannily resemblant to Vergil's DT and uses his 'summoned sword' attack

@godofcrap42 I dont know anything about the 'son of Vergil' thing, since it never explained that in game, but he never injured his arm. He pretended that his arm was injured to hide the fact that he had developed demonic power i.e. the Devil Bringer. And though he first tested the Devil Bringer on Dante (first fight after the supposed death of the leader [he didnt really die]), his 'demon side' (Devil Trigger) wasn't fully awakened until Nero repaired the Yamato (Vergil's katana).

@MaxVaulger Right, my mistake on those bits. But the Vergil bit is true, I can guarantee. You can even look for the manga yourself, granted you'd need to read in japanese to understand it.

@PoisonBlade415 It's more like a prologue to DMC3, which was the prologue to 1 and 2. especially since in DMC4, Dante is noticably older than he was in the other games or the anime
