  • yeahhh, wanna hear the latest news

  • There ain't nothing behind the wall. It's in the Ground 6ft deep. Sealed inside a clay jar with wax. I'm the only 1 who knows where.

  • Too bad the website is no longer active... would like to know more up to date information. It seems from what I've read online the project has stopped and permission never given to excavate further "for safety reqasons".

With all the marvels of enginerring that exist these days the excavation can certainly be done without danger to the public. Wonder if the "powers that be" are trying to prevent further discovery.

  • i love it it's amassing good job

  • The echo effect is truly annoying.

  • Fascinating stuff, is this some kind of (high) freemasonic (mystery schools!) time capsule...?

TRUTH RISING IN THE GLOBE THEATRE...!

  • If I ever embark on a real treasure hunt, i'm taking this man with me!

  • NO ONE opened up that manhole cover for over a century?

  • i will be doing tje tour june 20th and will get back my thoughts

  • Use ground-penetrating radar, for goodness sake.

  • When i was younger i worked construction drilling holes in concrete for pipes and so-on with a rig called a "core drill". One could drill a 2-3 inch hole through the bulk head concrete or stone wall in about 6 hours if it was say 3 feet thick. I don't see this wall having much re-bar in it. Then you could feed through a snake camera and see "whats behind the wall". Look in the yellow pages under "concrete drilling and cutting". The cost would be about $2000.oo plus or minus.

  • not anymore

    thanx

  • You can always call Geraldo Rivera!!

  • the wall cannot be knocked down because atlantic avenue was built over it and without a massive engineering study we cannot verify that removing the wall would not affect the avenue. We have to dig from the street side down, with the cities permission.

Evidence points to one train behind the wall. The Cosgrove Report was written by a former CIA member who based the novel on historical fact. People told Bob the tunnel was a fiction too.

Jerry Kolber - Producer, The Tunnel

  • I thought the wall was filling in the tunnel, so Atlantic Ave should have been built over the tunnel when it was open. The wall added later shouldn't be load bearing. Can't they make a little hole send camera in to see if train there, they do colonoscopies for goodness sakes.

  • jerryknyc , It wouldn't hurt to take out a few blocks of cement. To gain axsect to the tunnel. That it done a lot in new building. also are there any other man holes on that part of the tunnel?

  • This guy is searching because of what he read in "The Cosgrove Report"', which refers to itself as an "Annotated Novel". It's a work of fiction. Get back to me when they find the locomotive.

  • It would be great if when they break the wall down, they find a community of homeless people who took an alternate, easier way in....or an enormous cache of 19th century porn.

  • there's probably a starbucks behind there

  • ROFL!!!

  • LMFAO

  • Great Story

  • I hear Jimmy Hoffa is behind the wall too.

what an attention whore. Movie? roflmao. at best this is a cheesy documentary.

  • More than likely he is telling the truth but the artifacts were taken away long time ago!

  • so how come he needs so much money to knock down a brick wall, can't he just get a sledgehammer?

  • not that easy,my friend i think if he does that ,the gowanus expressways support will weaken and you need the states permission[i think]

  • but wasn't the wall just built to block off the tunnel? it can't be load bearing.

  • im not sure if its true or not but i heard it

  • unless they built the road on top of it. wich sounds like they did.

  • uh if its an abandoned subway tunnel then there was already a road on top of when it was bricked up.

  • YEA! PROBABLY.

  • i've heard theres two behind that wall

  • records show that one is definitely behind that wall, but two would be just too good to be true.

  • thats what the other vid says

  • yah I know - but I got that from another site about the tunnel

  • there's a good chance.

  • OK so when i go to behind the wall web site all i get is the front page and thats it!! must still be under construction!! can anybody tell me if they have tried

  • I got the same thing

  • I was down in there a few years ago.. it really was amazing to see something that was built absolutely so long ago, and to emerge from it you are immediately places back into modern society. It's really such a magnificent piece of engineering, and I really hope he finds that train!!

  • im soooo freaked out. u gotta b kidding me.ths shit cant be true.idk what to think.

  • this is real, coming from a resident of new york city/brooklyn for 10 years. 2 steam locomotives are in there, that dissappeared from the lirr.

  • i think ive heard about this too.

somewhere i saw some doc about all the empty and abandoned tunnels under manhattan. and that people would venture under the city and get lost for days sometimes. its going to be fantastic to find out what is really behind that wall...

  • I'm still considering the earth is flat and round like a record.. and there is perhaps a stargate to another planet underneath Giza.. interesting video, thank you.

  • @_@ WHAT? we couldn't have cellphones if that were true, the physics need to be just right.

  • a portal to another planet huh? well, keep in touch. i have a mind like that

  • I saw a piece on this on cities of the underworld on THC. Why can't if he has a permit from the city get past the other bulkhead in 20 years? seems like for no other reason then the historical purposes of the locomotive and the railway someone in the national railway historical movement or the archives etc could push for action??? does anyone have any other info? would love to get this moving!!!

  • Having been lucky enough to actually have been in the tunnel years ago, it IS actually as mysterious and cool and Bob Diamond says it is. And yes, we actually went down the manhole cover in the middle of the street to get to it.

Bob Deserves all the accolades he can get.

  • Bob is an inspiration. The whole story is really something, can't wait for the movie!
