I dont know if other dialects use them but i am sure some do, In japanese there are dialecs similar to Korean and Chinese languages so maybe it is used in them. For example 関西 most would spell Kansai but still sometimes you can see it spelled Kwansei. The name of a book 怪談 Kaidan is even spelled Kwaidan. I think it is used in some ryukyuan languages.
