i cant understand how he can be so famous. he sounds like a YEE-AK (asorah)!! lol!! his voice has no charm whatsoever.

perhaps the people who adore him have never heard sin si samouth.

Until now, no one can compare to Mr. Sin Sisamouth, even Sous SongVichea. Maybe he sings very close, but can't compare. As for Preap Sovath, some people enjoy his style of singing. May people like his style of singing, it's their preference. As for me, I never tired of listening to Mr. Sin Sisamouth's songs.

btw, i didn't mean to put down all the modern singers. as oldies are gone, there must be modern ones. however, i think preab sovath gets more fame than he deserves.

anyway, you rite, so far no1 can compare 2 sin si samouth. even some thais & some laotians of TODAY, 30 years or so after his tragic death in the genocide of the cambodian people by the khmer rouge, know of him. he was & IS famous in & BEYOND cambodia.

If m not wrong, singer is Mr Sin Sinsamouth, but that voice is worse because of adding extra instrument voice and converting file.
