  • How'd you put the washers on

  • How did you put the washers on if you can't get access under the kayak that's my problem.

  • Using a hole saw makes the job a lot easier. Its just an oversize drill bit and in every hardware store. Good vid though...

  • were did you buy the rod holders??? and screws?

    thx

  • I usually get rod holders at Bass Pro, cut them to the proper legnth, and epoxy plastic plugs over the end. I like to use stainless hardware from and hardware store.

  • @stephane195 you can buy them at walmart too.

  • Loving the videos- Learning a lot

What kind of glue are you using on your installs....

I'm a little worried about glue reacting with or not sticking to the plastic. I have a pungo.

  • I usually use Marine Goop. I have never had adverse reactions with the plastic, but I guess it could happen.

  • Love this viedo very much. Any other juicy viedo ?

  • Good job. Good vid, but had to use the mute button.

  • You dont use any of the glue for the screws?

  • Oh yeh, I just ended up cutting that part out to make the clip a little shorter. Good point. Thanks!!!

  • I love the tunes to this one

  • Another fine job, John!

  • Wow,

That was very cool. I have wanted to see that done for a while now. Made it look vey simple I hope i will have it that easy when I do my kayak.

  • Thanks!

Just drop me a line if you have any questions. Its really quite easy. You just need to commit to cutting a hole in your yak... That's the stressful part.

    Good luck!

    John
