  • Haha, Johnny probably felt so good playing those hands.

  • 34:50 "this is 50-50" he is right because he could not know that chan sat with JJ...

  • that must be embarrassing. losing quarter of a million, on tv, to johnny chan, for no reason. To make it worse the commentator says he just lost that hand for no reason.

  • at least he has a sick watch...

  • laak is usless. it wasnt a good laydown.. he just sits there for years then does a massive bet lays down everything. he is shit or sutin

  • @masterbates2011 i agree with you hes too tight sometimes, but cmon he instant folded a full house. it was a really good fold, put yourself in that position it would be tough to do.

  • GALFOND WORST POKER PLAYER EVER SEEN

  • @superwebnoob You're out of your mind

  • @superwebnoob ...then you have no clue about that game dude!

  • holllyyy shit.

  • NORM..... go back to SNL can't make it as commentator... Sorry, Liked you there not here

  • Thanks God there is a mute button.

  • 25:02 Laak damn that fold was awesome. Maybe the best fold I've seen in a while. People talk about bluffs and shit but my goodness what a bullet dodge, intentional or not well done!

  • After this Rolex is now known as Casio..

  • Boneta is soooo out classed. and it shows.

  • DAYUM!!! WHAT A QUICK LAY DOWN!! GENIUS!

  • Norm voice is annoying where is Kaplan

  • wow i'm amazed the way laak laydown his full house, really well played.

  • boneta = compleate dumb ass!

  • i know how i would spend my 30 seconds with kara scott

  • Wow i couldnt let that hand go the one laak folded... but i quess thats why i sit here behind my computer and phil laak at the table.

  • Laak folding that boat to Chan's full boat on river SICK

  • wow Laak is such a total nit but it worked out for him vs. Chan and Greenstein.

  • @ 19:00 I hate Chan's limp with 4 people in already but he gets lucky that daniel is so stupid to raise 8k when he coulda seen a free flop with T9 suited. What a terrible play by daniel with 5 people in already.

  • i'm trying to watch the hand between Galfond and Boneta and the camera is following negranu and his stupid story about how he sits on the plane. daniel is the biggest camera whore ever. Just shut up and try to actually win at HSP for once. No one but you likes the sound of your voice.

  • i so fkin hate chans type.. those anoying nits that gets lucky and starts talking and think they are good .. GAAAAAHHHH ?!

  • @FkinHouseMusic if i had 10 WSOP bracelets i'd think i was good too...

  • @Nightshadow272 'cause he's Johnny frickin' Chan!

  • How good is chan running?!??!?!??!?! playing amazing to though

  • u ever see that movie s rounder? check-check-check

  • Negreanu whispering "Good fold" to Galfond at 40:58 ... disappointing from him, but Phil Laak had it right at least.

  • Laak = nit

  • The very last hand, frustrating that he folded those queens.. you know that greenstein is gonna bet big on the river to bluff it, missed draw, maybe got it but idk I'd feel like just pay the maggot off. If he can beat an overpair whatever.

  • Este Video deve ser para mostar a sorte do Chan, o Kra é de muita sorte, porém joga muito heim.

This video should be to show the sort of Chan, the Kra is very lucky, but plays much huh.

  • why the fuck is chan so lucky?

  • @Nightshadow272

  • 21:57 Barry is like "why couldn't that have been me with those aces". That boneta guy aint no poker player, hes a scared player going all in like that

  • Oh hello! Have you seen the amazon book How to Shake the Online Poker Money Tree ? I got some awesome techniques from it and now can play like a pro and kick butt multi-tabling with no sweat.

  • @ArtoTonnis agreed. totally. I think Laak knows Johnny too well

  • hes not raisin him with a straight...

  • @ArtoTonnis sickest

  • Check out this list of best poker websites:

    best-poker-websites.info

  • Boneta played it like a set!!

  • @MrJonnyboy36

Yeah but Jonny Played it like A Royal Fluh .. Jonny crushed them all, only good lay down was phil laak , sick read that hes beat to jj aj or aq .. qq . 4 hands which looked unlikely but he layed it down.

  • Norm is clueless. Chan does NOT want a bunch of people calling his AA. The more people to the flop, the greater the odds his aces will go down.

Please bring Gabe back. A thousand times more entertaining, and ten times more knowledgable about poker.

  • prolly a stupid question, why do they always 'run it twice', or three times, why don't they play normally.... /=

  • @maul3rk1ng Reduces the chance that the hand that is behind catches the right card to win

  • @hachihyakunijuni how? surely if you're behind you'd rather more cards come out so you're more likely to hit whatever you need? please explain dudeee <3

  • @maul3rk1ng because they're playing with a lot of money, and it saves them from taking a big bad beat

  • serious laydown

  • what a fold by laak against chan's AJ full house... wow, I'm stunned. I think laak picked up a tell; otherwise, there's no way a fold would be justified based on the hand played out. (chan would have been raising for value with AK or any ace for that matter.)

  • oh my god incredible laydown by laak.

he may be loose in cash game but that fold made him a fucking genious

  • Robert is DEF. no rich bizman, u see how much losing those pots hurt him. He proabaly went busto there

  • Laak!!!!!!!!!!!!!! sickest lay down ever so incredible

  • phil galfond is a fish

  • @legnadesolo stfu... your a minnow bitch :)

  • lol at daniel 21:34 nonchalantly: "yeah that's probably gonna win"

  • Laak is the worst cashgame player ever

  • I only go firstclass...lol...

  • i want gabe,,,i want gabe

  • L0_0K at 42:20....... LMAO

    Pro:Wanna run it twice?

    N00b: What does that mean???

  • worst season by far! bring Gabe Kaplan back!

  • this is real money that they are playing with right?

  • yourpokercash(dot)com/addby/663b95

  • 07:07 - Daniel: "You ever see that movie, Rounders?" Chan should've been like "no shit, I was in it".

  • Boneta = Donkalicious.

  • @theivyleaguer

    he's so fuckin bad

  • Dont try to bluff the Chan Man!

  • The casting of the season 7 make me close the vids at 0:21

  • boneta is such a donk, just an idiot. acts arrogant and cocky when clearly he's the fish in this lineup

  • I read a quote from McDonald, the commentator, say that a guy who never played poker in his life can win a bracelet. He also said a guy who never played basketball in his life cant ever win an NBA title. How bullshit. First off, if you never played poker you cant win a bracelet. Its never happened before, and it never will happen. In the NBA you can be the 12th man on the bench, never play, and your team wins and you get a ring. GG Norm you idiot.

  • @NickBreakerxboxlive a bracelet comes from a tournament. luck can get you far in 1 tournament. he's just saying that its not always the best who win, especially now that poker blew up and theres so many amateurs trying to play. the 12th man on an NBA team does not fit the description of 'never played basketball in his life'. the 12th man on an NBA team is better than almost everyone on the planet, and probably the best player on his college or high school team or maybe even from his hometown

  • OK FUCK WE MISS GABE ALRIGHT!! NOW WE GOT THIS CLUELESS COMMENTATOR, LIVE WITH IT AND STOP FUCKIN POSTING IT.

  • Unlike Galfond in the last hand of the last episode, Laak put Chan on a hand and was right. Thats how poker should be played.

  • I find the voice of this guy's narration is really annoying.

  • WE WANT GABE!

  • Norm mcdonald mustve been on shrooms

  • I'm fucking lonely and I need alot of thumbs up to feel good about myself.

    Go fuck yourselves

  • Johnny Chan. "I only go first class, I lie down" lol. semi-baller comment.

Phil Ivey. "I take my private jet and have 100K home games thousands of feet in the air." super baller comment

  • How come the top comments on each episode are about Gabe being gone. if you don't like it then go watch Poker After Dark and stop bitchin. If you need an announcer to watch poker than you guys are ridiculous. you do know about the mute button right?

  • Boneta is awful. I hope for his sake he has a day job.

  • I love how Negreanu asks if you've seen Rounders @ 7:05 and Negreanu reminds me or Edward Norton EVERYTIME i see him play.

  • It's the voice of death...

Where you going Peter? I caught Flo Jo, don't think I can't catch you!

  • I hope the popular misuse of the word "sick" only has a few more years to run. I am sick of it.

  • Losing Gabe was a catastrophe for this show.

  • chan was paying the dealer, sick hands every time!!

  • mao ng nakalamang sa daghan og chips ky kursonada na kaau mo raise ..

  • high stakes on zynga lol !

  • Man seriously I'm used to downrate Laak as much as I can because of his plays on other shows, but in this very episodes he makes great laydowns even though he runs so bad, very impressive.

  • What the fuck is this fold ? WTF ? Insta fold didn't even think about it or did he misread his hand ? I mean WTFFFFFF

  • Why is this watch dealer, Casio, giving his money to Chan?

  • @dodgerguy1981 It's rolex

  • @dodgerguy1981 Thanks for the clarification, though, Casio fits him better. ;)

  • @dodgerguy1981 epic meltdown agreed. "plane to catch"

  • don't love Laak. but that whole hand w chan was pretty professional, every part of it

  • when he said ''welcome back to high stakes poker'' i sort a sat their thinking, where the fuck did i go anyway?

  • 17:17 what a laydown! Laak you seize to amaze me.. sick fold.. nice one!

  • Daniel Negreanu rocks \m/

  • wtf how'd he insta fold that boat 17:20

  • very nice fold. (17:20)

  • Who goes all-in on a stone cold bluff against Johnny F'n Chan?

  • daniel is annoying

  • wtf sick laydown by laak

  • chan is usually very lucky, good player but also very lucky...

  • Phil laak is one of the best cash game poker players. His reads are next to none and his laydowns this game were insane. Even the 7's against barry's 8's on a JJJ board. He knew barry had a bigger pair and called to peel a 7. Not even a call on flop lmao. SICK

  • like this if you think Laak made a sick laydown

  • @pokkadots1991 omg.. what a laydown, i din realize it till i saw it.. i would be going all the way with his hand my man

  • @pokkadots1991

I believe he just misread his hand LMAO. For real

  • @ GSN

We all want Gabe and AJ back as hosts, and Kara Scott as a topless assistent

We all want Dwan Ivey and Antonius back

We want you to dump all these retarded amateurs

We want to see Viktor Blom in a televised game

We want this host to shut up and comment on Yahtzee games

We want hot girls with more cleavage

    High stakes poker is dead

  • @Foreverguga1 I agree with most everything you say, but what's up with the retarded amateurs comment? This video has Johnny Chan, Daniel Negreanu, Barry Greenstein, Doyle Brunson, and Phil Laak. That's a net worth of $130 million+ I know we all want to see the young guns throwing 100k on the table with 7 2, but give a little props to the veterans of the game.

  • @mwashinski

No disrespect to guys like Chan, Brunson, Hellmuth etc. But to be very honest, the new age pokerplayers would completely slaughter them in cash games in a decent hand sample.

Putting in 100k with 7-2 and balancing 3x pot shoves for value and as bluffs is not only exciting to watch, it's a part of the new strategy to beat the highest stakes . With amateurs in the show, you force these old school players to play even more boring ABC poker and therefore this show is a bore

  • @mwashinski

And about the $130 million net worth. Take my word, wait another 6 years and watch what happens to that net worth. It mostly comes from times when people barely knew poker. The games are getting tougher at an unbelievable rate and 5 years from now, the names you mentioned won't even belong in the top 200 of best cash game players.

The best players in the world are the ones that consistently beat the highest stakes online. Not the ones that outlasted a bunch of amateurs at the WSOP

  • @pokkadots1991 Don't take this the wrong way but this was a VERY EASY lay down. Any pro knows that once the board is paired that there is a boat out there. In here Laak raises and a pro reraises with the board being paired. Laak knows Chan must have a boat and Laak has the lowest possible boat. Very easy!!!

  • Like this if you are sick of misuse of the word "sick."

  • @pokkadots1991

It was a snap lay down, very very easy to lay that hand down. It is Chan......What could chan be raising with that Laak could beat. NOTHING!

  • @GOLDSILVERDUDE Your a pro... I wont to google you. Whats your name?

  • @MrJonnyboy36

    My name is Jack Mehoff

  • @GOLDSILVERDUDE Ahhh thats to bad. :(

  • phil laak made such a sick laydown omg he's so good...

  • what a fold by laak! fuck me!

  • I think norm macdonald was just dying to make a joke, and couldn't.

  • jonny chan is a beeassstt!!! that's how you play aces

  • 23:16 lolwut?

  • Galfond's style works well in deep games like this where he can isolate and bet people off hands. small stakes games aren't usually deep enough for this to work, because stacks are so much shorter relative to the size of the pot, so players are committed to hands much more easily. Top pair can be folded when you have 1000+ BBs, but when stacks are small, not the case nearly as often. Put Galfond at a 1/2 table, and I'm pretty sure you wouldn't see him using these moves as often.

  • @bapize2 agree. he can use the deep stack stakes to his advantage. However, when he first came on the scene he was a pure nit. elezra was relentless in his needling of him. Guess Dwan told him to start loosening up. Put Sammy, Eli and Ivey in there and he wouldn't be as brazen. Sammy for sure would check him.

  • Chan has good day :D
