  • I have that drums also and have also taught, but I still find it difficult to do after him to

  • 0:23 NO ONE CAN BEAT ME

  • so you cant use your own samples on this thing?

  • He looks like jason bateman

  • I want to drum. Should I get this, or just be patient and get the TD4K2? Help would be appreciated! :)

  • @MickehDaHuskeh be patient!

  • Joseph Goebbels ?

  • Hi im hope please check out my drumming :-) at my channel

  • Should I get a Electronic drum kit? I already have a acoustic kit and have been playing it for a year now, I am good and I play in a band, I don't have much money so what would be the cheapest option?

  • @obamagriffin u can find better electronic kit than this with lower price :) dont buy it ! i did that mistake when i started learning the drums and i really hate this kit :/

  • @obamagriffin It really depends. If you're playing live then I'd go with acoustic any day, simply because of the stage presence and the simple fact that there's just something about them that E-kits can't quite capture. E-Kits are mostly great for just mucking around, being able to practice without neighbours hearing you and having a variety of kits at your fingertip.

  • It would be nice if he wasn't reading his script so obviously.

  • 1:34 - TR808!

  • i got a question.

this kit got a MIDI-out, can i use a midi to usb cable and hook it up to my macbookpro and use mayby Garageband to change the sounds of the kit... since i dont like the preset kits that are on it..

  • @Keevin93S you can do it to any midi instrument, I don't see why this one would be an exception... I am planning to buy one and do the same thing

  • @serdasteclas ok, thanks for replying.

  • johnny cool

  • I want to learn drumming and need a good silent drumkit.

Is this a good choice for my first kit?

  • Looks like a good kit for a good price.

  • I have this

its a great beginner set but if you are a pro id get the roland td20

  • @MaxWoobs uuuuuuuuummmmmmmmmmmmmm great

  • 3:32 KIT NO.4 isn't dance, IS DRUM AND BASS :D

  • he sounds like charlie sheen

  • @DanielLarsonDrums and looks like a long haired Henry Rollins

  • @ChiefJanez

hahahahaha cant fucking unsee emo rollins with voice of Charlie Sheen

  • drake bell of the future

  • I have an osp mkii and its ok but i really wish i had one of these

  • Can you choke the cymbals?

  • @GibsonGuitarist666 no you don't have that option until the pretty expensive kits

  • for me johnny rabb should by one of the moust famous drummers in the world just like mike portnoy or lars ulrich.

  • Dave Mustain you?

  • I am guitar-player and want to learn drums - I think I will have this one soooo bad

  • WOW

  • Johnny Rabb is a perfect example, that it takes individual ability, talent and experience to be good in something. It's never the equipment or hardware used.

To all those people who think buying the most expensive stuff will make them great.

  • Jim carey anyone?

  • @runesfight

    Not even close...

  • Johnny Rabb is epic!!!!!!!

  • I want ONE!!!!!!

  • i have one of these and the mesh snare just make my day.

  • show de bolaa

  • show

  • Who the H!!! plays fast and heavy double bass roles with a Stupid cowbell¿?¿!?!, Change it for a ride and it would be better

  • It doesnt get more basic as this!

  • he look like drake bell of the future

  • Can the cymbals be choked on this?

  • Does the snare at 2:35 sound like "cunt" to anybody else, too?

  • the only great thing in this video is when he say WOWW ... xd LOLLL

  • i need; double bass; eletronic.

lie, lie, I need all this drums is perfect!

  • your voices perfromance is pretty neat!

  • I'm a guitarist, but I'm thinking about getting myself a budget digital drum set like this. Not too crazy about the built-in sounds, though. But I have EZ drummer (which I believe has better sounds) software on my computer, can you hook up this Roland set to that, turn of the built-in sounds and use the sounds from EZ drummer instead? And will there be any sound delay if you do this?

  • Holy shit. Double bass haha

  • holy shit im digging that double bass. im so fuking getting this

  • which kit is better?

yamaha dtxplorer or the roland hd-1

  • @MISMAG828 IMO the dtxplorer cuz its upgradable better pedals u can make custom kits real double bass and many more

  • @MISMAG828 of course the yamaha, you can put the pedal you want, the double one as well, there are many more kits, the module is way better

  • Can I plug my ipod into this and hear it and the drums through headphones cause were gonna move into a townhouse and i founf this set really cheap on ebay

  • Does this kit have midi? Can you control computer based samples via this unit?

  • Where can I get one and how much is it?!

  • Roland has plastic sounds - just use the pads to control your addictive drums or ez drummer software. roland only uses 4 to 6 different samples per pad/interument. samplers like the above use 10 times more. the result: real sounding drums and no machine-gun effects. believe me. I used a roland td-10 for 10 years and it NEVER sounded real. NEVER. you can't use it for recordings. but these 250 Euro softwares are the real deal.

  • check out my video response. My own review and a tutorial on how to fix those sloppy weak pedals that come on the HD-1.

  • should i buy this? im a beginner, just played the guitar over years. is this a good kit for beginners? pls answer :) and are 600 euro ok for this one?

    :)

  • @TheTehalon

Yes. Good Set for Beginners with HD-Tutor.

  • @TheTehalon it's good to start when i started drumming i bought a Medili dd 501 i was realy excited about it but after a year i wanted another drumset and now i bought the yamaha dtxpress so its a good drum set to begin but the medili dd 501 is cheaper it doesn't sounds better than the roland hd1

  • this thing is useless

  • With all the respect to Johnny Rabb and that, but this video is seriously CHEESY.

  • Is it hard to setup those drums?

  • @liamzuid go youtube Roland HD-1 Setup

  • Hey how much can i get one of these for

  • @brickmaster24 554,99 - 600.-

  • @brickmaster24 ebay: $500-800 minus the DAP-1 accessory pack. your local music store: $700-800 plus the DAP-1 accessory pack, free.

  • He sounds like Charlie Sheen

  • Is it possible to connect a different module like the td12 or td20.

Because i havent got the space for the TD12 drums, but i do like the sound module.

  • @Beatbode1980 nope

  • does the hihat open or does just make a sound of an open hihat??

  • Comment removed

  • gostei

  • can u plug it on a speaker?

  • the only thing i like about this HD1 kit is the 'voices' , thats awesome , wish tht was in my td4kx kit

  • @osemekeugbo999 hd1 has only 2-3 cool drum kits, and that is all! you can play voices for fun but after a 5 minutes you get bored. it will be better roland to choose 10 real drum kits and this is the reason to pick the td4

  • wowowowo ELECTRONIC :X:X:X:

  • i will however say this...DON"T BUY THE MONITOR... i mean i still have it and it works and all but just use an amp..you will need a connector piece. the monitor they recommend gets loud, but i wanted to go louder so don't buy it

  • lmao this kit sucks so much i used to have it

as the video tells you it has a combined like 10 kits with no possibility of pad expansion or sound expansion.

dont buy it if you're anything more than an inexperienced casual drummer

  • @pajamaloaf dude thats fuckin bullshit, im beyond just a casual drummer and i have one of these that i do some serious rock'n out to often...its sturdy because its roland, its great for apartments, its the cheapest of its kind, and you can very easily add sound kits to it, you just might be to damn stupid to figure it out...this is not a kit for beginners its a kit for those who don't want to shell out 3 grand for a higher end set. had it for 2 years and play it just as hard as an acoustic

  • @kevdigs930 It can still be used by beginners, right?

  • @kevdigs930 So i may be stupid too. Could you tell me how i can get other sounds into the hd-1 drum module or its pads? i dont get how :( thx

  • @kevdigs930 i disagree. you will never become good at the bass drum with out a actual pedal. You have to practice on a real pedal. secondly, the toms arn't very adjust able. They are horribly placed. if u pay alittle more u can get the 400$ one. it is like a 100000000x better improvement.

  • @MoonPhysical im not sure if its 400$ but the one drumset thats 1 step above.

  • @kevdigs930 I love Roland but you got to give it to Alesis. The DM6 express is $250 online and it has usb w/ EZ Drummer lite.

  • @kevdigs930 It's impossible to add your own sounds to it or anything short of TD9 or 10 (can't remember). You can CUSTOMISE your own drumkit using any of the preset samples, but no new sounds without purchasing a new brain.

  • I tried one of these in a music shop, nice kit and all but the pedals feel awful

  • @discohunter12 Your mom felt awful last night, =-O (Soz, I Had 2)

  • @MrAdzerman xD

  • i have this drumkit, and since i bought it, one and a half year ago, my life has changed. me and my friends now get together to make music many more times than in ten years with a real drumkit. it's not as nice as the real drums, but the fact that it fits any car's trunk, and doesn't torture anyone's hearing makes for it. and now, i bought a alesis dm4 drum module, and got them together: my frankenstein eletronic drumkit is way bigger than my real one!! nice!

  • I have this drumset, IT SUCKS ASSS

  • Double Bass= EEEEEEEPPPPPPPPPIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICCCCCCCC

  • I WANT THIS

  • THIS IS VERY NICE ,IM PLANING TO CHANGES MY ACOUSTIC DRUM;DO YOU RECOMEND THAT THIS IS GOOD FOR OUTDOOR AND FOR LIVE BAND;BECAUSE IVE NOT SEEN YET LIVEBAND USING ELECTRONIC DRUMSET;;pls answer thanks bec. im interested with this kit

  • @jesneca I wouldn't recommend this kit for a live plus this kit is like for beginners if you want an electric kit for live performance check roland's stage kits, yamaha dtxtreme, or even alesis dm10 pro with surge cymbals. I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THIS LIT FOR LIVE PERFORMANCE

  • das is richtig teuer xD

  • I think I will get this one.

  • Pressing the button number 1. :D

  • is it possible to choke the cymbals on this kit?????

  • @ufomamut1 nope.

  • @ufomamut1 no

  • @ufomamut1 no :(

  • Droid made me happy, industrial has been achieved.

  • @TheLynxie Indeed!

  • look johnny rabb's face at 1:16. priceless

  • i have roland td-4k and i hate it!!!

stupid toms can't be adjusted good...

  • @KillerDrums777 are you talking about these?or litraly td-4k?

  • @clemmings1 td-4k... i always make wrong choises

  • Hey just a question isn't the roland td4k good what is bad about it?

    thanks

  • eletronic drum it's cool

but an acoustic drum set is better than it

    Johnny Rabb is great ;D

  • Planing on getting this by tomorrow! Saved up money for the whole summer!

  • How much does it cost...? -.-

  • @Syn94 rrp of about £600 i fink but ive seen them new for £500

  • @666TheRem666 Ouch...

  • this drum kit sucks

  • nice ending! haha XD

  • Kit No.5 sounds like Silent Hill.

  • Nice double bass performance

  • Is it possible to play whilrs on the snare like a real one??

  • Can I hook this up to my laptop and rewire it through Superior Drummer? Also can the pads be put up in height? I am a tall guy and probably need everything just a little bit higher.

  • @thesiroki Yes it has Midi out , you just need a Midi Interface because it doesnt have Midi Usb .

  • @Kleinkunstrecords I have an M-AUDIO Fast Track Pro that has MIDI in and out on the backside.. I think that's ok right?

  • @thesiroki Yes it should work .

  • I meant how loud it is when you hit the pad...

  • I've had this drum set for 2 years now and its brilliant for beginners like I was when I bought it, it's a 1 piece set so its effectively out of the box play. If your looking for a nice basic set this is the one to go for, it's fairly quiet due to the cushioned kick pedals. The pads do clack a bit but that's something you effectively expect from an electric set. 1 problem is maybe the lack of expansion, but for beginners that's not to much of a problem :)

  • What are you using for a amp. Sounds awesome on my computer.

  • I kinda, sorta, need this. I dont even play drums I was looking at drum machines, but this seems like a fairly compact version of something much more fun

  • Can you do ghost notes on it?

  • @wajahatkhan Yep. It has amazing velocity.

  • @wajahatkhan watch wen he does the 'jazz' style..

  • how silent are the pads compared to the rockband drums?

  • @oOPsychoRidleyOo you cant compare rock band drums with this men .. really if u dont know about drums just play rockband

  • damn he's good

  • i accidently stumbled upon this video (not stumbled upon that website thing) and couldnt stop watching it lol

  • I love at 0:58 when he finishes playing his jazz thing (like its fuck*n easy) and then says "Awesome."

  • Get a td4k

  • i think johnny rabb is the only one who can make the voices kit sound good haha

  • love the ending XD

  • OMFG!

i've try this on the store and i loved it!

i'm gonna buy one, i just want to sell my pod xt live first!

i can't wait to rock with this amazing drum! :D

  • @Gerson619ASY lol i need a pod

  • I thought he'd said something wrong when he said voices... wierd.

  • i've got td-4k and it's awesome

  • @KillerDrums777 what did you pay for it and where did you get it im searching for a

    cheap td-4k

  • @SmartieeeJackson my father bought it for me for 1320 euros...

i live in Finland and we bought it from ''vantaanmusiikki'' or something.

if you live in Europe check Thomann.de they ship around europe... there are few languages to choose... td-4k set without mds-4 is 990e

  • reminds me of Dr. Oz lol, cept he plays drums instead of fucking with medicine

  • would this drum set be okay to plug into a computer for recording drum beats and the odd practices ?

I gig on an acoustic set but i need a cheap electronic to record and practice on and this looks ideal, any one got good things to say about this set

  • This drum kit should have had the "Melodies" drum sound which is, for example, on the TD-20KX

    That would be sweeet ;)

  • @Einareen

i dun think the engine couldn't support it. considering the td9 kx cant even handle that.

  • @BeaverClocks Oh, I just thought it "came out" later since it wasn't on the TD-9.

Im gonna buy TD-9k soon ;)

  • @Einareen

td9kx is great. i have one myself, check out my covers.

  • @BeaverClocks Oh, i didnt say TD-9kx, because thats the "Pro" version, I guess. No, thats a bit expensive. Im going for standard TD-9

  • @Einareen

l will say invest a little more for the kx. the mash makes it is a lot easier for the hand. trust me.

  • @BeaverClocks Nope ;) I recon its too expensive to me. And i have no experience with electric drumkits anyway, so i wont pay loads of money for it.

  • awesom

  • @zildijan123 ders some on sale in tottenham court rd... loads of music shop round der.. hd1 is the cheapest one u can find der.....

  • @zildijan123 wembley drum center

  • ''for your meal Iraq cannot deny that the lot of fun as well'' ''all right and finally we really not for the kid culturally insist and can work by which we have been in a variation button'' YOU CANNOT WATCH WITHOUT TRANSCRIBE! IT IS TO FUNNY!

  • Comment removed

  • transcribe audio: " i had is open food" WTF!! haha

  • Schlecht

  • es kann kein HD sein

    max.480p

  • "Droid" sounds like Junkyard from the TD9

  • the last minute or so of this video where the visual is edited to match the playing of the drums is so completely un-necessary and 100% hilarious.

  • If you NEED to practice VERY quite, 'cause the neighbours next to your apartment are dumb scum fucks (like mine), this little kit is perfect!!

I had a Roland TD3, but I sold it after 3 weeks cause the kickpedal and the pads were too loud.

Then I tried this one and it's pads and the integrated pedals are WAY quieter than the TD3. Just for practicing different types of grooves etc... it's perfect. Nothing compared to an accoustic set or better Roland, but the HD1 isn't supposed to be that!

  • i hate thes kinda drums like what ever happend to the original kind of drums ?!?

  • i have a question

can you make your own drum set by just buying a couple of practice pads and adding triggers then connecting it to a drum module

  • no. it has 10 drums-sounds sets. you cannot do nothing else

  • @nrique321 i want this

  • i wanna buy this..which speakers or amplifier r u using?

  • wow very nice!!

  • i would so badly get that but i bet its hell expensive :/

  • maaaannnnnn. double bass is ssiiiiiiickkk!!
