Yes, the film was made in Poland, in the famous Lodz's "Se-ma-for" studio. Its animator Tadeusz Wilkosz had made scenography and ...puppets. The Coralgol story itself and music were of course French ;-) Back then making such movies was tedious effort...
Nowadays' computer generated films are rather scary annoying experience. Coralgol was CUTE!
This little bear was hugely popular in Norway in the early seventies -and the norwegian dubbing was excellent -the soundtrack albums sold a lot (I have one on an old cassette!). There's soon to be released a dvd, I've heard?
