Its kind of cool that Keith is reading to his audience. Its original I'll give him that. Original but kinda nerdy, like old liberal nerdy. And since when has he started this whole reading at the end of his show every friday? Did he start doing this to improve ratings? Is he trying to compete with Glenn? When I first saw him doing this I thought he was mockingly reading a Glenn Beck book. I thought he was doing this for entertainment value. So since when has he started doing this???
@smoothy883 Keith originally read these stories from Thurber to his father while his father was slowly dying in hospital, and his father suggested that he read them on the program. The Thurber family approved of this, and Keith would read these stories every Friday for a number of months.
Glenn Beck would never think of writing a story such as this - or even reading stories such as those of Thurber, for that matter.
