The book is excellent. It's about life, and the things people go through. She writes this book beautifully, and the reader is brought into the story, and you feel for Mac and Carter. As for the Jewel Trilogy, that is strictly love and faerie-centric. It does not really deal with the issues of life. It's a lovely series, but one of Ms. Roberts' older books. Her writing has matured since then.
I actually listened to that on audiobook from my library and I also listened to the second one which is bed of roses and I enjoyed that one too. Don't worry about saying something negative in a review because if u didn't then u wouldn't read other books besides the ones that you normally do and it really wouldn't be a review....good job.
at the beginning you were talking about the Gallagher series. And it was in Ireland. I thought vision in white was a good book, but we all have a different opinions. I loved the other books in the series.
I have to say, I think the thing about the book I did not enjoy is the main character, I didn't like her. I didn't like her boyfriend either. If the character isn't good the books not good. Maybe give the others in the series a chance, Emmaline character looks promising, her book should be good :-) good character = good book, IMO.
i am done with black hills you should read it i have one prob with the end it kinda left me with loose ends i cant really explain so if you get a chance please read it and let me know what you think now i'm lookin for the next book
the books you were talking about are the jewels of the sun, moon and sea i love nora roberts but i read the back of the book and put it back so thanks for that. i just downloaded black hill maybe after i read it i'll let you know how i like it.
Yes! Jewels of the Sun. Pearls of the somthing...etc. Oh, I loved those. The story is in Ireland and there's brothers and a pub. And it's such a great series. I'd recommend them to anyone who can suspend reality a tiny bit because there's fairies and magical stuff in it a little. Thanks! Also, please do let me know how you like Black Hill. :)
I am an avid Nora Roberts fan. As with soccorchick45 I don't mean any offense but I happened to love this book. I even showed it to my sisters who haven't read any of her books and htey enjoyed it. I know it's not everybody's favorite. But it just seemed so down to earth for me and different than a lot of her novels (ie. the Gallaghers of Ardmore Trilogy that you mentioned). Just my opinion. :)
See...it's weird. Maybe I was just in a bad mood that week. Like I said, I usually love her books..this one just didn't tickle me right and I am not sure why. I think maybe it was too down to earth for my tastes, lol. I hear ya though - thanks for commenting and sharing your thoughts with YouTube.
i disagree. No offense or nothing. I loved it !! i think you have to just to be into that kind of genre. I absolutely LOVED it. It''s currently my favorite book at the time. If you like romance comedies (sorta) you will like it !! i did and a million others i kno did too
No offense taken. I do usually love these kinds of books. It's my genre of choice. Something about that book killed me inside a little...I don't know why...but sometimes you just find a book that doesn't do it for you. And for me, this was one of those books. Thanks for your comment though, it shows/reminds people that mine isn't the only opinion out there and that we each do have to remember to think or decide for ourselves :)
Not really sure, its a historical romance, wasn't really my sort of genre, but my sister raved about the book so I thought I'd read it...I couldnt put it down, it's really really great. I'm reading it over again now.

I enjoyed Vision In White, but the character wasnt my favorite. I just read the second one, Bed Of Roses, and it was definitely a lot better.

Vision in White was, I agree, definitely not Nora's best, and neither was the second one, but the third Savor the Moment was really good.
