wow, i must say the cyclists were asking for it. the trick is to try to avoid pissing off the people who are piloting 2,500 pounds of metal down the same road. they were doing it just to piss the drivers off and they suffered the consequences.

Looks like a lack of common sense by both sides. Where I live, they have bike lanes. In the places where there are no bike lanes, the bikers ride to the far right. I don't know why the car was driving over the median (not medium). But while watching the video again, I noticed that one guy blocks the car with his bike (illegal) and several others attack the car as it speeds away (also illegal). Two wrongs don't make a right and in this case it makes the bicyclists look stupid.

I support urban cycling but these people are an embarrassment to our biking communities. Cycling should be promoted to reduce vehicle traffic and increase healthy living while fostering discussions on sustainable development and the building of strong communities. These bikers are nothing more than irresponsible people blocking traffic, thereby reducing the efficiency of our already congested roads while endangering everyone around them.

You will see more and more of this. As motorists feel threatened by these nuts surrounding them illegally in the roads and threatening them they will of course react to protect themselves and get out of the situation....probably running over a few of these nuts in the process. After a few of the kids they're dragging down the middle of the road behind them get killed they might start to get the point. They're simply being stupid. Get out of the roads.

Looks like a lack of common sense by both sides. Where I live, they have bike lanes. In the places where there are no bike lanes, the bikers ride to the far right. It allows everybody to use the road to it's fullest potential. You'd think an "educated" community would know this. Makes me think the bicyclists were looking for trouble...

I don't know why the car was driving over the median (not medium). But while watching the video again, I noticed that one guy blocks the car with his bike (illegal) and several others attack the car as it speeds away (also illegal). Two wrongs don't make a right and in this case it makes the bicyclists look stupid.

What does that have to do with his point? Bicyclists are required to act just like any other slow-moving vehicle, and use the the right-hand most lane (or bike lane). When's the last time you've seen a tractor driving in the left hand (fast) lane?
