I am a huge shin megami tensei fan. I can't wait until Persona 5 is released and atlus reveals more information on the game. Catherine was defintely a great game and I think is the second or third best game released so far. I would like to see some new fusion mechanics, more exploring, and mid-level save points. It seems that this fan site shinmegamitenseiDOTnet is the only place for finding news on Persona 5.

@dragonkings01 It's better than having that amazing Persona 4 remake on the 250+ dollar PSVita. If you don't have a PSP by now then you can get it a hell of a lot cheaper than a Vita, which is gonna be the same price as a new PS3 (at least in the USA)!

I know what you mean, though. I think it's just that it's cheaper to develop for handhelds. Also, Japan has even more love for handhelds than the USA, so developing games for them ensures a good profit all around.

At least we'll have P5!

Also it would be rather hard to put some of these games on to the iphone, ipad,ipod because of the controls and well the graphics engine I guess.

Those are all classic genres with modern design choices, unlike Strange Journey, with its archaic negotiation system, archaic random encounter , and archaic rogue-like dungeon design.

Playing this game right after coming back from school, getting yelled at to come eat supper then go back to play some more then get yelled at to shower then play some more, then getting yelled at to go to sleep. @AxelOwnz They said they hit technical limits of the PSP when they investigated a P4 port. You know how in the P3Portable version you can't walk on the field? Imagine in P4 not being able to do that, there's a chase sequence. There's also the fishing minigame that might have been complicated.

@sacryde No it isn't actually. It has similar graphics but the positioning system was not in Innocent Sin. If you have Eternal Punishment you already know the system, the 2 games are almost identical in terms of gameplay.

@sacryde P2 is vastly upgraded from P1's battle system. The tactical grid is gone. The spell selection is more uniform and organized. Elemental and physical weaknesses are somewhat simplified from P1. The team can also do combo attacks, powerful fusion spells. Each character just uses 1 weapon.
