@HikerJohn316 Hehe, Smart pills. Works great with just about any herbivore droppings. On a side note, Moose droppings actually smell really good when smoldering. Much like incense. I didn't believe it until a friend showed me. Fun with burning poo.
It's pretty much always dry like that. Even after rain or snow. Up under the "armpits" of the limbs the bark is usually plenty dry to catch a spark. Juniper is one of the best tinders available in this part of the country.
Ha! I did that a couple of weeks ago with a dollar magnifying glass from the hardware store. Rabbit poop is truly magical!
