oooooooooohhhhh poor tree huger, heary armpit, punk got his ass kicked by the big bad Coop. Is called Response to Resistance. If you are asked to leave than you better leave.......Judt Coops doing their job.
I was at these protests.I am a republican and in favor of law and order. What happened in Miami was a crime.People have the right to gather and speak their mind. That is what I thought this country is about.Freedom to express your views and assemble? That was thrown out and trampled on.The police went way overboard and should be prosecuted for their criminal behavior.Although there were some protestors that instigated violence, that is no excuse to go around beating groups of people indiscrimantly.
There were only two of them, if I were given a chance like that, the police would show up later and find two morons soaked in pepper spray, with their sticks shoved up their asses! NO BADGE, NO NAME TAG,...NO ATHOURITY!!! The days of passive resistance are over, in the future they will have no problems with killing non-violent citizens, for simply not following orders.
While I support the right of an officer to defend themselves, this was clearly not the case here. In neither spraying was either of the two officers in any danger. Both times they used their sprays on unarmed members of the public who were not violent or dangerous.
That in my book is assault. Doesn't matter if you wear a uniform or not, you assault someone you should get done for it.
Both those two officers should be sacked and charged with assault.
When motorcyclist Mcdufy was beat to death by cops for runing on a kawasaki 1000cc motorcycle and the blacks went on a riot over it none of this big bad mean cops went into black town. They knew they were going to get shot at.
So many americans die in WWII fighting the Nazis only to see this country turn into a Nazi state. But the revolucion is in the air . Tempers are allready hot , when the shit hits the fan no police dept well go against 80 million well armed american citizens.
The simple Truth is, the American public is a deliberately dumbed-down population, who, by their actions, indicate they do not deserve to live in freedom. They are "easy pickins" for the intimidators of a growing Police State.
I understand your frustration completely, Ahippi. However, I must respectfully disagree and say that all Americans, no matter how 'dumbed down', do deserve their freedom. It is guaranteed to them by the US Constitution. "We" need to start defending the Constitution and aggressively prosecuting those who disrespect it.
My viceral reaction to this clip is that I would have been moved to use a tire iron on the back of that so-called "guard's" skull if given the chance. Fascist rent-a-cops have no place in peaceful demonstrations in a democracy, which of course we are fast un-becoming. Sometimes non-violence has it's limits. Remember, holding hands and singing "Kumbaya" just makes you an easier target for Blackwater.
jetblacksyntax - You are a violent and angry person. Did your mother sweeten your formula with antifreeze when you were a baby? It must be miserable to live in your skin. I'd delete your freeper comments, but it's good to demonstrate the depths of the fascist illness strikening our country. Even if we put Bush in jail, we'd still have the likes of you, ready to lynch people as soon as the lights go out. Why are you so full of hate? Look inside yourself, man.
Werent supposed to be? They were on the street. Resisting is now equivelant to assault? If you watched the video, which i can only assume that you didnt, you will notice two heavily armed police officers walk upto a stationary civilian and spray them with a chemical irritant, which is designed to cause extreme discomfort and pain. Thats assault, without question.
maiku1434 - First of all, the guard sprayed someone who was trying to get home. You would have recognized that if you'd actually paid attention. Second of all, the sidewalk is public property. Thirdly, the guy (not me--again you didn't pay attention) wasn't exactly resisting. He did nothing to merit the guard's attack.
What if I walked up to a police officer and asked him to move, if he resists I will spray an irritant at him. Then is he the person who "wasn't supposed to be there"? Maybe you should open your eyes and mind instead of digesting everything you're given. I find it really saddening when people can't see that we are all human.
Those were police officers. You can't call the police on the police. As a rule, I try to stay away from aggressive police officers. However, sometimes they block the streets so you can't get away and beat you and spray you and shoot you with rubber bullets. I was in Miami that day.
Does not look like a policeman. He was totally wrong to do that. I would have called the police and get him arrested for assault. Whatever the case might be, as a golden rule: When you see aggressive people on the street, stay back! I repeat for you idiots: S-T-A-Y B-A-C-K!!!
Keep filming these evil gangster cops! If the new world order doesn't win then these sorry bastards will pay!

That's what you deserve-all of you dumb brainwashed morons for defending police and taking pictures with cops!
PAPPER SPRAY STILL
will not teach you constitution and how to not to engage in endless analyzing of Police Brutality.
When they put your to sleep like they do with homeless people then some of you morons will learn about what is the purpouse of police system in USA.
Concentration Camps,
Killing of homeless,
Swat death teams
ALL OF THIS WILL TEACH YOU ABOUT POLICE!

Victims need to start filing law suits against the officers that behave this way. Put this tape in front of a jury.

That cop looked like he was enjoying himself. Pretty vulgar of him to spray people on their way home and then telling them to go home.
Cops like these like to cover their tags and put masks on so that they can't be identified by their victims.
