my parents raised me right. my dad gave me How Will I Laugh Tomorrow and Art of Rebellion when I was about 12-13, along with some sabbath, some ac/dc, and metallica's first four albums. he's a good guy.
Join the fucking army! 33 here and the same as so many others. I think ST was highly underrated even with the amount of success they did achieve. ST for life!
dear vevo ur advertising strategies are so smart. cuzz dont u know everyone who listens to suicidal tendencies, will now watch lady gaga, but only if it was porn .........
This was the first ST cd i bought. Didn`t like their earlier stuff too much, and the CD after this one sucked. Never bought another one after that. But this one....epic ! One of my all-time faves as a teen. After seeing this, I gotta go to the `Bay and buy a copy !!!!
I was always disappointed when their fan base deserted them when they stopped being skate punk and got artistic and emotional, and really started to shine with a true intensity of art and feeling.
No one in the world like these guys...so true..so real...holy shit...music today lacks so badly the reality..the truth..the feeling that your soul can breathe eat and live by. Suicidal Tendencies equals epic and eternal.
Love this album. It`s what got me into heavier music. Must have listened to it 1000 times in my room when I was 16, my crappy cd-player with earplugs (couldn`t afford speakers lol).
One of the many ST songs that kept me going through the hardest of times! If it wasn't for Suicidal, I may have committed Suicide...... ;) ST's music will live with me forever.
@GDAMNSHRUBBIE Yeah I always heard he was underrated since most of his solos are toned down alot on the albums. I dont notice that anymore because I have listened to them so much.
@VPCFH1 right man 19 then 38 now still fuckin great I can still remember ridin in my bro's chevelle and drinkin outside pool halls becauz we were to yougng to drink inside ST!
@keithmbn I hear you bro. I was a junior in highschool when join the army came out and was the first in school to get the cassette tape. It reminds me of kegs, pallet bon fires, pretty girls, and fist fights. Good times.
17 years prior now, ST opened for Megadeth on the eastcoast. The live version came out real even stronger than this thing. I know ill always keep what Mike told the crowd in silent confidence.
True. I've been listening to them since '84. Saw them live in '94 and '08 and they kicked ass live. Got to mee Mike Muir after the last show in December '08 and he was cool as shit.
