@stephaniesaysstfu, There's nothing wrong being sexual in art, but there are ways to do it to add more depth, making it more artful. Obviously for me, she wasn't raunchy and flagrant enough for me to even notice.

So my issue isn't with sex, but in the flagrant selling of it rather than selling the art. I don't mean to sound elitist, but most of the mainstream entertainment today simply steals braincells from anyone that has braincells.

Now that said, I don't believe that detracts from their music because their lyrical arrangements are fairly unique. Their lyrics aren't really poetry or anything of that sort, but the band has a very distinct sound and that is really what modern music is missing. Emily markets herself in a way that still has sexual undertones, but is not "slutty".
