If you can't find your hamster, put some food out in the middle of the floor and keep all doors and windows closed... if they are hungry, they will come out and eat the food. :) Hope this helps!

@dillewil yes, you might be right. a hamster's memory is actually pretty short,he wouldnt care less if the cage was pink or blue or square or round, all this huge package is for the owner's amusement, not the hamster's.

a hammy can live the happiest life in an average medium sized cage with a loving owner.

i still think its pretty cool, but if i had this, id give more time for cleaning this than for my hamster's playtime outside of the cage....

@stripesmommy just show her how serious you are about it. tell her that you realize that everything will eventually die. you have to say it and mean it. nothing lasts forever, but its your job to make sure that the hamster lives a long happy life. if you can show her you understand this, i have no doubt she will let you get another hamster. as for its cage, tell her that you want to expand her home and get it a hamster ball to explore. make it happy, and thats not a problem.
