@Zolantor it's about a grade 7 piece if that's any help. No offence to you but if you've been learning for only a year then probably not in short: yes it's quiet difficult for any non-professional

I think it's just me, but most people's barcarolle left hand is a lot more subtle.. when I hear this version though, it sounds more lively.

I agree with most comments here, wonderfully played.

She knows exactly how to play it but does not succeed completely. This piece is about a quarrel between the right and the left hand. It is too perfect, there should be some disagreement between the right and the left hand. The left hand follows as a slave too much. It should have a mind of its own to make it more interesting.

Especially in the end with the high right hand arpeggios should sound as a sarcastic comment on the left hand.

Lastly, I just want to point out exactly what makes you so good because I want to be specific - you play with wonderful expressiveness. You are not overly showy in your mannerism and your technique is as close to perfect as one would desire.

Your understanding of the tempo of the piece was spot on. As well, you have wonderful control of your body and you interpret the pauses / rests, and dynamics perfectly.

And, of course, you hit all the right notes :)

I've seen a lot of amateur pianists play on YouTube, and most of them are exceptional, but your performance here was one of the best I've heard. I assume you're amateur, and if you are, you should be professional. And you should do Tchaikovsky (he's my favorite composer BTW :) ) Beautiful work. Very nicely done.
