u are so right the riddims nowadays sound like crap even the artist now sound horrible it dont sound like reggae no more all they do is trace and use bad word the older riddims are much better thats why they try to remake so many of them. an example is the martial arts riddim and self defense or showtime and unfinshed business the new riddims cant compare

@cwwright83 That's because today's dancehall artists are infatuated with lyrics not feeling...the tunes from back in the day felt right...today it's a bunch of lyrics no feeling...the riddims from the 90s were sweet and at any given time we had at least 4 hot riddims running the streets and each had 4 or 5 hits...now you have an infatuation with complex lyrics or crossing over so the feeling is gone...they take out all the bass from riddims make them sound like Hip Hop...
