The PS3 version is HUGE compared to the 360 version, its like almost double, I wont be suprised if it gets released a year or 2 later becasue of all the extra work they had to but in with all the full voiceing and new skits and cutscenes. Im positive it will get here.... Well lets hope.

I don't get what's going on here, is this guy seriously telling the truth or is he really telling people a huge lie. Why haven't NamcoBandai addressed this yet or have something been said after Troy spoke at the Sakura Con?
@CrystalPower92 He didn't know, if you pay attention to the video. He said he doesn't know why there hasn't been an announcement about it, and he's waiting for the release just as much as you guys. Remember, Troys just a voice actor, he has no say in whether it gets a PS3 version. He already did his job as a voice actor and I doubt they're going to tell him anything about the release until they confirm it themselves. And be patient. Sometimes games or different releases take YEARS. It happens
well i see it like this. i dont think namco would announce anything but remember troy isnt the only voice actor that was asked by namco to recorded the voice for ps3 dialogues so i would say dont give up on this game. since namco can release countless dynasty warriors. and lets not forget there are other gaming conventions where they can release this game.
That' s a very stupid comparison. TW had to be a shocking announcement at E3, that' s why it was denied before the event. ToV localization has NOTHING special (it' s a game with very very low sales), there is no need in hiding so long such a stupid announcement. Moreover, if they want to localize it, why waiting so long?!?!? The translation is ready (they already have the 360 version translation) and the year of 360 exclusivity is over. And more...
Oh.... another very stupid comparison! Eternal sonata was announced at TGS because it was an interesting "surprise". ToV is not a surprise:we already know it is on PS3. they have to announce just a localization,not an entire game.ES was released in USA a month after the JPN release and in Europe 4 months after. This ToV is already been released 10 months ago in Japan and it has not a USA release date yet.

I am quite sure it will never be localised, but nothing is impossible! I am one of those who waited anxiously for this game, so I am very sad to say you that. I "studied" this case (Namco past localisations, release dates, Tales marketing etc) and I can say there is very very very low chance ToV will be localised. I am same as you (don' t have a 360 and don' t want to buy the Japanese PS3 version)

Well, I suppose I'll keep waiting. If it takes too long, I'll just watch a full walkthrough and be done with it. Would be a shame if we never get to play this but oh well. =/

This would be the first time a Tales game comes to NA/Eu more than a YEAR AFTER the japanese release. (only Level5 is so slow because they have no studio in West!) And that would be absurd too. Ther is no need in waiting all this time: they already have 90% script and dubbing made (from the 360 version!).
There is very very very very small chance ToV comes to NA/EU.
@locked89 We got Tales of Phantasia GBA 2+ years after Japanese release. Baker didn't lied because it would be Namco that choice not to use the voice acting.
remember duke nukem forever took a long time to be released, this could happen to tales of vesperia too
