  • Fun to watch, good job with the barn.

  • how big do they get?

  • The adult Pygmy does you see in the video are approximately 19-20 inches tall at the shoulder. That is a little under knee high to my 5'3". They are 2-4 lbs. at birth and mature at around 50-60 lbs by age three, most of that being their stocky little bodies. :)

  • They are so crazy and fun

    are they difficult to rear?

and are the adults as friendly / playful as the Kids

  • They need a small barn or shed (draft-free housing), fresh hay and water and ocassional small amounts of grain (1/2 cup of less unless they are nursing kids), yearly vaccinations and a safely fenced play area. They are wonderfully friendly and social. The adults don't play quite as "non-stop" actively as the kids, but DO continue playing (running around, jumping/climbing and "spronking") all thru their lives. They really just get more lovable as they mature (smile).

  • i love goats :D

  • Hey friends! Please comment on (and rate, if you want) this video. I'm looking forward to hearing what you think of all the goats - and especially the new babies! Thanks! -Deb at Spring Promise Pygmies, AK.
