  • NICE SHAVE AND A HAIRCUT!!!!!

  • Yeah I see those on CSX here on just about every train, but never could figure out the H. Thanks!

  • Yeah NS and CN use the DC SD70M-2. NS has remained DC power until a few months ago...they now have 23 or 24 ES44AC locomoives

  • Ive also seen an ES44AH locomotive- the H means heavier than standared with a high tractive effort software I read somewere. CSX uses them.

  • They also are ballasted with concrete to make them heavy for better tractive effort.

  • I didnt know that Chris.

  • Hard to imagine a locomotive filled with concrete huh? Crews seem to like them though.

  • Norfolk Southern has SD70M-2s, which are DC versions of the ACe.

  • So NS has the DC units and CRX has the AC version of the SD70's thats the difference. thanks.

  • YEA TURN UR VOLUME UP WHILE HE DOES A LOUD S%H! LOL great video!

  • Thanks- the rail fans behind me were waving like crazy. Took us by surprise.

  • nice, but i think the first unit is an SD-70ACe, a way to tell is because of the cab windows and the nose

  • I know CSX has the SD70AC's I dont think NS has them. I think from NS road #2649 - 2778 are SD70M-2.

  • Since they are both EMD's they are probably close in design.

  • Perfect Shave and a Haircut!

  • Yea it was a cool sound

  • Nice video.

  • Thanks Dan
