Yeah NS and CN use the DC SD70M-2. NS has remained DC power until a few months ago...they now have 23 or 24 ES44AC locomoives

Ive also seen an ES44AH locomotive- the H means heavier than standared with a high tractive effort software I read somewere. CSX uses them.

They also are ballasted with concrete to make them heavy for better tractive effort.

Norfolk Southern has SD70M-2s, which are DC versions of the ACe.

I know CSX has the SD70AC's I dont think NS has them. I think from NS road #2649 - 2778 are SD70M-2.
