There was a bill that was proposed where not even women who might die due to pregnancy are able to get an abortion. Don't compare religions and say that one is better. I'm a Christian and I understand what you are saying. Some Christian refuse to listen and learn. I wouldn't exchange the truth for lies, but that doesn't mean I can't accept people with opposing views. I accept evolution, for instance. The Bible does not teach against evolution, and God's creation does not contract him, so I have no problem with it. Some haven't grown beyond the Dark Ages is all, and it's too bad, because their faith is very shallow.

Yeah, it's a definite struggle. I am raised Christian and attended Mass and CCD. I couldn't just believe, but my Church was kind and let me be who I was. More people should be more accepting of others, that's all. There's no way we'll all ever get along, but we can make an effort to stop being sooo dim and one sided on other's views.

i still don't have an answer for what I think is the real stumper. we all know Palin is not VP material, and has probably sunk the GOP campaign (hope so), but why was she chosen in the first place? what was McCain thinking? it's almost inconceivable that he found any reason to choose her. other than a cynical one, believing that there were a enough dumb, religious, ' middle Americans', who might vote for her? anyone?
