I made a blown motor and the distributor ras chrome so I had to scrape it of to paint it black but it was black plastic so I just left it after I scraped and sanded it of
I'm just getting into model car building again after a break of 20yrs+. Great tip man i'm definately gonna give it a go. Do you think you could use the same idea for making seatbelts or is there an easier way that i don't know about?

I did almost the same thing. Except I used a rubberband. Then painted it flat black, It came out awsome!
