  • @ 6:56... she's like "Hey Crystal, call me!" :)

  • Crystal is stunning, and badass. Gorgeous...

  • I didn't think the interview format was that bad. Looked like CC enjoyed going on there. Not like the BBC interview where she couldn't understand the lady half the time.

  • It wasn't BBC it was CNN International. American show hosted in UK with British journalists.

  • Ok? I know it was CNN International, but it was broad casted in the UK. I didn't particularly mean "THE BBC, or BBC 2" channels.

  • wow...it's hard to imagine a more annoying interview format...those two really chipper girls and that old guy who was talking about his bowel movements...what the heck was going on? anyway, good job by cc not to get annoyed and to hang in there for 7 minutes.

  • I love the informalness of this 'interview', but it was really hard to follow at times when they were all talking at once. Does anyone know what was being said between about 4:26 and 4:40 that made CC laugh so??

Btw love the little head flick at 5:23, so sassy!!

  • yeah id liked that part too. CC is awesome.

  • this interview was a mess BUT I LOVED IT CAUSE IT HAD CC!!!!

  • CC rocks. love her

  • Crystal looks smokin' as usual!! This low rent show is a circus because all I see is a bunch of clowns and Crystal should have served that dude a big glass of "Shut the fuck up"!!!!

  • Good Lord, CC is sooo freaking gorgeous. That's all I really have to say.

  • what a strang way to interview someone, it was all over the place. They wouldn't let Crystal finish a sentence and were easily distracted all the time by the clips they were playing. There just seemed ot be no structure. What a waste of Crystal's time...though lovely to see her on screen :o)

  • This show is an idiot free-for-all and what the hell is with Jillian Barbieri's dumb-ass comments? Good Day LA should be cancelled, not GL. Everybody's talking at once.

  • Yes, CC was the only sane one in the bunch. Jillian B. has always stuck her foot in her mouth with stupid comments.

  • I thought the show was a waste of promo time.all three jumped up for pics at the end like they promoted something further..not! cc is not gay but learning and i cant expect her to correct just yet some idiot ideas and sayings. When they said gays as having sex & we dont want that ...pump the breaks! Lesbians arent views liked gays in society or our community..thats why the two mom thing worked...idiots! Should added the intimacy and stop fearing cbs...

  • CC in the blazar and jeans..and that hair...omg! CC is indeed a Goddess

  • How funny three idiots and a GODDESS!!!

I used to watch Good Day Live when it was national and yes, it was always chaotic!!!

  • I used to LOVE this show when it was syndicated...Now it just annoys me. On a positive note, CC is HOT!!!

  • cincygurl, that is just about the only positive note associated with this clip! CC IS HOT...VERY HOT!!!

  • "lezbo go-go"? What an idiot. That woman should learn how to talk a little more professionally. The whole panel needed to ask question and wait for a reply. It was so caotic in that interview.

  • Only in LA can three F-tards have a popular talk show...one of which talks about his bowel movements...The segment should have been called..."Three idiots and a goddess.."

  • LOL, completely agree hellinblazes!

  • After they said the lack of physical intimacy between Otalia was a good thing, because of blah blah blah, I was done with the interview. That's like saying its a great thing they don't actually show an African American on television with a gun because people will think they are a gangster. God forbid we "oversexed gays" be displayed as normal people. We wouldn't want that now would we? CC or not, that was pretty lame!

  • You are right. The mass media is still set on attempting make us feel less than normal. I am sure most of us are gunshy after the otalia storyline. I know I am going into venice not as blindly as i did with Otalia. The difference for me this time, is these women have creative control. The fact that the dude considered bringing up his bowel movement was a subtle belittlment. Some might see it as light hearted, but I view it as a blatant downplay of the innovative idea. But I am not easily sold.

  • I must be blunt, I half way expected Otalia to turn into the hot mess. Especially since I've followed the show on and off for 13 plus years. I knew there would be some stereotyping thrown in there. What I didn't expect was for it to be a step back from Nuke, BAM, and dare I even say it, Breese. At least with those couples we had physical intimacy. I guess you could say that the last few years on American tv have left me jaded. I'm pretty much done wish for decent representation. I've all but

  • stopped supporting shows who have gay couples on them. I just wait for some kind soul to post the YouTube clips. I have no confidence in the writing for the shows. Come to think of it, most of the shows I watch are mystery with very little romance. I figure if the straight people aren't getting any either then that somehow makes it okay. And before you ask, yes I'm bitter. I just can't believe it's 2009 and we are still going through this. Come on!

  • Well GL was my first soap opera ever. In all truth, television has never been a very big part of my life. I came across a few music videos and when I saw how many lesbians were all jumping for joy, I thought well this should be an interest watch. I do not think questioning intentions when a claim of representation has been made is being jaded. As a culture or sub-culture, it is important to identify all aspects or influences within the identity of that culture. We are what we eat -j/k-

  • This was not a good representation of any culture except perhaps the geriatric culture and the complexities of having a normal bowel movement. Just sayin'!!!

  • ROTFLMAO! Nice!

  • I disagree. While it is true that there is more physical intimacy in some of the other on screen lesbian romances,Otalia had better and more fully drawn characters--characters who seemed more real because of the long time spent on every little nuance. We understood why these 2 very different women were drawn to each other because for months we saw each little interaction between them. As for intimacy, what was lacking physically was more than made up for in emotional tenderness and affections.

  • Otalia's romance was indeed drawn out, to the point it became so predictable I found myself falling asleep. For the last few months, their interactions consisted of will we or won't we tell someone, face touching, fighting, and then making up. If it were not for my appreciation of how much these two embraced their fans I would have discontinued all together. It's not their fault their network wussed out on one of the best things to ever happen to them.

  • The pace was,to me,part of Otalia's appeal Sometimes real romances develope unexpectantly and proceed so slowly that even those involved are surprised at where they have arrived. I grant you that CBS often lacked boldness, but I have to say that Otalia frustrated me far less than say, the way Bianca's romances were treated by AMC. As much as I love Eden Riegel I don't think AMC had a clue as to how to handle Bianca's love life. I prefer Otalia's reality over such chaotic storytelling anytime.

  • I will admit that BAM's story was chaotic. However, most that had to do a lot with Megan McTavish. I believe BAM would have happened sooner if that woman hadn't come riding in on her broom stick and completely changed directions. You have her to thank for that lovely rape story line. But giving credit where credit was due, AMC has at least had enough courage to let their lesbians be lesbians. Now if only they could learn to give them a story line we'd be all set!

  • I agree about BAM,but I think that one of the differences with otalia is that these were either straight women experiencing a unique attraction to another person who happened to be female, sort of an attraction of souls or Otalia is an attraction of women whose gayness was so submerged beneathed layers of other things fear, religion, etc that they did'nt see their gayness until a particular person came along. The slowness of Otalia came, maybe from the women not quite grasping what was going on.

  • Simmmer down now...These guys are pretty popular in LA...pretty high ratings morning show...that's just how they are and have been for years-they are goofy and light...they were having a lot of fun and I thought Crystal was as well. The whole point is to get the word out and I feel they helped out this morning. Loved it!!!

  • You are correct. This show has very high ratings. So good publicity for her.

  • ok not to be an assalot.. but did anyone else think -fcuktard- when the grey haird dude started talking about his bowel movement?? Who does that? Here you are a few feet from an innovative web savy business woman and it is Crystal freakin Chappell and you start discussing your... Well that! WTH? is that all about? I dont know but I found him a little dumb. But I guess it is fox so i should not be shocked.

  • I have to say that I totally agree with you on this! That was the first thing that I thought...WTF? How in the hell can you sit next to Crystal Chappell and talk about your freakin' bowel movements?! He is either gay, or has a really, REALLY hot wife!!!

  • I have a really really hot GF and am gay... so what are ya saying Scotty?? LMAO... And yep I agree with you.. something is amiss. I know any publicity is a good thing. But I mean she got some smarts and I wish they would have asks her some smarter questions. Daisymouse87.. Its not about being angry.. cause I am not angry.. I just would love to hear more about the businesswoman side of Crystal Chappell cause I think she is extremely smart and innovative. Not enough attention is given to that.

  • girls... i'm with ya... WTF indeed. thankfully CC is so damn hot, i just got lost in her in spite of the fucktards.

  • Hey Cubs! Nice to have you back...and, as for the fucktards...well, what would we have to bitch about if there were no more fucktards?! LMAO

  • Excellent, excellent point, scotty! Although, we're a creative and expressive group... we'd think of something! :)

  • LMAO...I'm positive that you are right...we WOULD think of something...anything!!!

  • WTF is up with the host of this show was CC the only normal one there. She never got to plug Venice what a waste of her time.

  • They are all a bunch of idiots not letting CC talk and acting like do-dos' I would have walked off the set.... CC is far too classy for these morons....especially the man who is nothing but annoying beyond belief

  • argh! how annoying that they arent listening to what CC is saying when shes trying to plug venice... they keep interrupting her, then mention it again, and then get distracted by the guiding light clips and interrupt her again! kinda rude... dont they know who she is, let the goddess speak!

  • Good Day LA is FOX morning trio of goofballs. Don't expect anything serious from them... Can't listen at the moment but can watch...love how CC's makeup is to make her look like Olivia Freakin Spencer. Hey hey. Eye candy for sure.

  • Yeah, let's completely neuter ourselves so that mainstream America will accept us. That's a great message to send out.

On the plus side, CC is stunning.

  • Jeebus! Could CC look any better!

  • All they do is have sex together. I wish :)

  • Well, aren't they a fun bunch. Much different than the news I grew up with. Gosh, Crystal's such a class act. Even after the camera's are rolling. Thank you Desti!

  • She's so yummy!
