  • Comment removed

  • actng sucks!

  • @cartoonlover89 I think they knew that while making the movie :D No need to point out the obvious.

  • I fear that the northern lights, nearness the magnetic pole of the earth and the long winter have very bad effects upon the health of the Fins! Alone that they are forced to stay inside all day and to amuse themselves by watching foreign television series; though their parody of the American space travelling nonsense is quite well made and a lot more entertaining to watch than the original; but one does realize the bad influence of the video games, especially in the battle scenes a lot!

  • @FireEyedMaidOfWar yeah, tell that to the nearly 30+ C weather here in Turku.

  • @VuRp0: So the infamous climate chance is to blame? The unaccustomed heat has driven those Finns mad? I suppose that every bad thing has also two good sides, as Nietzsche once said; so the madden Finns making funny movies and distribute them freely around the world is certainly one of them!

  • full twist... NOW!!!

  • Star track would beat Babylon 5 any day of the week.

  • Bush lol awesome

  • Hmm.

    :-l

  • ensin katoin että dragfest sitten että faqfest mutta se olikin onneksi fragfest =)

  • I wish they had an English version of this and that someone would do something similar like Star Wars vs. Battlestar Galactica or something.

  • Finnish humor... That sucks...

  • @sirena823 its just that the Nordic countries have their own type of humor that nobody else understands

  • Joni... Ota vähän rennommin!

  • Ugh. Smells like Enterprise.

  • The special effects actually look better than those of the original Star Trek and Babylon 5 series. Not bad...

  • This is So Bad It's Good. Intentionally so, but still. When compared to other Finnish films, it's actually good.

  • looks just as boring as Star Trek

  • @paddotk Prepare to face some angry nerd in a battle of insults....

  • @ruotsionpaska haha yeah

  • This is probably my favourite film! I love Fukov..he's such an idiot! Are there many Finnish films like this because this one is awesome?

  • @crazypersonnumber666 Most Finnish films are quite bad. Oddly enough, this is better than 99% of Finnish cinema despite costing much, much less than them.

  • @crazypersonnumber666 Short answer: No.

  • "In the Pirkinning" Hahaha! Just like Gronholm when his car had lost a wheel: "I think it´s the preik kallipper"

  • really why ???????what did i did wrong why why why????

  • FUKOOOOOOOV!!

  • Tre Cool!

  • Dudes, chill out.... Russia can make their own movies... who cares. And Finland rules, this is a great movie spoof as far as this trailer tells... End of story. :P

  • @andre83310 yuore right END OF END OF END OF END OF END OF END OF END OF END OF END OF END OF END OF END OF END OF END OF END OF END OF

  • Every1 learn Finnish and listen all those stuff they say... God damnit i rofled all the time. And all of that is made by Finlands coverments money, and yes... All they are Jobless or are studends...

  • @TheRandomFinn Its RUSSIAN audio made in FINLAND with ENGLISH subtitles

  • @AVNCIALHPI So you say they speak russian? They are NOT speaking russian! It is Finnish becose i am finnish and i know difference between finnish and russian! That is Finnish movie too so you should shut up if you dont know anything about it!

  • @TheRandomFinn It doesnt take a vulgar/vulcan to work out it is set in russia (on earth that is) so why would they speak finnish!!!

  • @AVNCIALHPI What are you talking about...? That whole movie is made in Finland. Whole audio, all those scenes, everything! So why are you telling me that it is made in russia, its russian audio etc. If you do link me place where they say it and don't just come here and talk your own sh1t!

  • @TheRandomFinn A video i saw on youtube

  • @AVNCIALHPI I told you to show the source. So stfu if you can't tell that! That is true finnish cuz im finnish and all of the people in ther is finnish language. Made in Finland.

  • @TheRandomFinn The title of the movie is star wreck: a parody that pits star trek against babylon 5

    HAPPY

  • @AVNCIALHPI Gawd -.- They have it wrong.... You wasted those minutes from my life -.-

  • @TheRandomFinn I only went on what he said "russian audio with english subtitles"

  • @AVNCIALHPI So you told me all the time that its russian audio??? To finnish guy... What was your point?

  • @AVNCIALHPI lol, ur the worst troll ever.

  • @AVNCIALHPI Okey, that IS FINNISH. How hard is it to believe.. ?

  • very good movie, in finnish= todella hyvä leffa

  • Hmm...very interesting...people of the foreign dimension speak finnish!!

  • Didn't this movie have like a 200€ budget or something?

  • @hehareps less...

  • @hehareps Made from jobless and student payments what goverment gives. Tehty työttömyyslisistä ja opiskelija tuista.

  • funny language

  • This totally had me with the Bush, nearly splurted coke out through my nose : D

Hard to believe this is an amateur production, made by a group of geeks in their garage.

  • I've watched all the previous Star Wrecks here on youtube, and for me, the slightly-off translations just add to the hilarity. I'm pretty sure they've just left them uncorrected for that very reason.

  • If you want to claim to be from FInland, and thus understanding this movie so much better than us uneducated foreigners...

    Don't say 'I'm from Finnish'

It makes your situation... abit too clear to the rest of us :)

  • @AlexKrycek411 Its ironic that you complain about him not writing his non-native language well, when you cannot do it yourself either.

(What he means of course that lot of these jokes are really hard to translate to English, same thing when you try to translate jokes from English to Finnish. The movie also has lots of stereotypes etc. maybe hard for non-Finn to get.)

  • Was that Klingon in black face?

  • you guys to need to easy off...this ís a funny movie... please... =)

  • I'm going to assume from the context that "condensate" was a really bad translation.

  • @Baibakov88 No, everything in the movie is a joke on Star Trek technobabble

  • how did they create the fx, the ships look quite realistic

  • All the finnish people ARE NOT like this.......... fortunately

  • Twinkler?? Full twist???

  • 2:39 XD

    joni ota vähän rennommin

    XD

  • Star Wreck > Star Trek (the last one)

If you don't get this awesome amateur parody you really deserve crappy hyped up movies like Star Trek.

  • 2:12

    Fukooooov

    hahahahah

  • Jotenkin... No, hulluja ovat olleet. Ja kuvauspaikkojen ohi päivittäin kävellessä on aina kiva naureskella muistikuville leffasta. Info<3

  • what language is this?

  • Finnish

  • Voi perkele on saatanan hyvä xD

  • I would get a sense of humour had the the people who made were funny but they aren't. Why does it bother you so much what i think anyway??

  • That looks nuts.

  • just to make sure that you know that

    Finnish = Suomi

  • not if you are not an US american or voted democratic!

  • sickest film i ever seen

  • soon suomalaasta tekua=(in english)its made in finland

  • Its Finnish some would say parody to Star Trek. Amateur movie first made for free to internet, but later Univarsal Pichtures wanned to make DVD out of it so here it is.

  • Star Wreck is all kinds of awesome. Seriously.

  • IT'S FINNISH, DAMMIT!!

  • Hehe... It's ALOT funnier if you can speak finnish... Im from finnish and this movie is hilarious.

  • Wow, that looks like a fun movie!

Everyting's funnier in Finnish, I guess.

  • thanks to professional actor Väänänen

  • only finns could do it =D

  • That´s right ! ! !

  • well ... you have to take into account HOW and WHY this movie was made :D:D ... I see it as very good B-rate sci-fi / comedy (:

  • Love this movie. Gotta make Hungarian subtitles and play it in our film club soon.

  • Paras traileri

  • Jiihaa

  • Well, the jokes are actually in Finnish and the subtitles suck. Really laughed at the jokes, since my mother language is Finnish. Also there are many Finnish culture jokes and Finland's realtionship with Russia and so on. So to get the jokes, you got to be Finnish.

  • @MameluckProductions To get the jokes, you got to be Finnish and you also probably got to be nerd. From Finland and didn't find this funny. People yelling stuff with horrible acting? Dont get it, wat is fanni?

  • @kansalainenx The bad acting is part of the movie. Part of it that makes it funny. But of course, you can't please everyone, that's just impossible.

  • @kansalainenx Ei tommoset vanhat papat tajua kun kymppitonnia.

  • @MameluckProductions I noticed a lot of the jokes are built around Finnish cultural knowledge but I asked some Finns (my friends from Finland that is) and even they couldn't figure out why the characters in this movie say "torstai" as an exclamation (or swearword). Is there an easy way to explain why Thursday is so funny? Thanks :o) I'm studying Finnish as my 4th language but I don't think I'll ever be very good at it if I don't move into Finland one day :o)

  • @khundar I guess it's supposed to be funny because it's common in Finland to say "perjantai" (friday) as sort of a tamer version of the similar sounding swear word "perkele." Pirk says "torstai" (thursday) because he has a habit of twisting idioms around like that.

  • @dbringer Oh, thanks, now I get it :o) So the "Rejkjaviikissä tavataa" or something like that is also a twisted idiom?

  • @khundar Yeah. "Helvetissä tavataan / See you in hell" would be the original one I think.

  • @dbringer Thanks, now I see how Finns must "like" Iceland xD

  • so what if the years are wronh its humor

  • this past November that is.

  • thats finnish movie! im living in finland!! that movie sooo hilarious

  • i was suprised that this was finnish xD

  • Just for the record; Hitler got into power 1933, not 1934. They got it wrong in the trailer.

  • He became Fuhrer in 1934.

  • educate yourself. He called himself "Führer" long before 1933.

  • How about you educate yourself...

He became dictator in 1933, when he was assigned as chancellor of Germanym, but his official title changed to Führer of Germany in 1934, when Paul won Hindenburg died. How about you educate yourself.

Well, smartåsses like you usually dont really know about anything.

  • It is irrelevant, what his official title was, he became a monster and got in power 33. Take Bush; this film underlines him with 2000, but he didt become the known monster before 2001, cuz until then he just used to play golf and make holidays. It was only after 9/11 that he started to transform USA into a policestate. If your argumentation was right, the film should then underline him with 2001. But You are of course too retarded to get even that.

  • My comment was comment about your comment, not about the video.

His title is relevant to point-lovers and dot-suckers like you. I was just trying to show how annoying people like you are. Then you go and prove me right.

  • The US was never exactly converted to a police state but I'm still glad that Bush is no longer running my country. McCain should have been President in 2000, but I had to vote against him in November. Obama was clearly the better choice.

  • The chick talking about power levels certainly got MY power levels going! :-)

  • @lancerun yeah whats her name

  • Iron sky seems to become much different to that. At least it looks much less trashy.

  • it's a parody, who has ever acquired anything when oidng parodies? XD

  • Everyone. Its a studios goodwill to let them use the license and characters.

  • So what George Bush was mentioned in 0:18? It was just a joke!

  • Hello from the makers of Star Wreck: In the Pirkinning.

We've uploaded this whole film to our YouTube channel. Also with subtitles in many languages.

  • Awesome! Star wreck is AWESOME! And it's Finnish!

  • mellow out child of wonder.

  • Haughty Europeans? If you don't sound haughty yourself in that statement! And its no wonder most the world hates George W. Bush considering his foreign policy of invading nations and alienating allies. The trailer only said George W. failed (which if you haven't noticed yet, is pretty darn accurate), not the United States, so its not as though this movie were some sadistic anti-American propaganda. All it really is is a spoof on Star Trek.

  • Alienating allies? Is that why pro-US leaders have been elected to high office in the last few years? Merkel replaces Schroder, Sarkozy replaces Chirac. Bush's legacy will be decided long after his presidency. (Make sure you don't drink all the Kool-Aid from your professors.)

  • Bush's legacy? What are you his fucking fluffer?

  • Bush's legacy... the concept makes me think about world war 3.

  • Hahaha, good comment.

  • An American telling Europeans to get a culture. What exactly doesn't add up here? Oh right!

  • @kvuohi americans having culture is like europeans knowing about computers...

  • @nomilkforsanta Well, since Nordic countries (Denmark, Sweden, Finland) are leading countries in science (stated by research conducted by USA and EU), I wouldn't say that europeans don't know about computers. Actually, the virtual mapping of human brain and nerve network is being done in Europe. Europe has always been the heart of advancement - nothing has changed.

And oh, what mobile phone do you have? Finnish Nokia, or perhaps swedish Ericson?

  • @kvuohi "What exactly doesn't add up here?"

I don't know, maybe the fact that America wins 20:1 over Europe in Scientific production?

  • @Eikinkloster get your facts straight! US is not the most science productor of the world, and to worsen thinks, half the american science workers are in fact from other countries! Go for yourself and read the nobel prize list!

  • Listing George there sure is making fun of all the Americans. WAKE UP! Hitler, Napoleon and Julius Caesar are all EUROPEAN.

  • Well you guys hadn't had a chance because we had found the land were your country is yet! Most North Americans are origianlly European so this is your History as well Pal!

  • star trek vs babylon 5.i love it.star wars vs star trek would be better becase there are more debates and vidios.

  • i think its a comedic parody. Like spaceballs.

  • Perkele on hyvä leffa!

  • We need italian too

    Ciao bravi (great)

  • Ive seen all the Star Wreck movies, legendary! But I cant freaking WAIT to Iron Sky releases! Love those guys!

  • i truly wish it was in English, but its very cool none the less to see two universes of fiction fighting each other.

  • It would totally suck, if it was in english.

  • Finnish?

  • Finnish

  • LMAO @ 2:00 !

  • Tää on hiton hyvä suomalainen elokuva! "syö valopalloja!"

  • i sure hope the picard saw this:) hilarious stuff

  • a frenchman winning a war?

tng is more fiction than science

  • Hohooo taas yksi legendaarinen suomi leffa :D
