  • Mr. Yamazaki is not a one armed man.... he be a one and a half armed man! With gigantic man plums and admirable aplomb!

He is an akidoka Dtrollman, with an eclecticism which many people neglect out of misplaced and farsical style adherence. Mix it up a bit to evolve.

  • lol both r playing kARATE ;P

  • WTF the guy is mising an arm and is NOT doingn any aikido

  • @trachdog2 In description :( Yamazaki fought bravely though he has only one arm.

  • thats not aikido

  • Not Aikido, but only karate for both athlets

  • That one armed dude is doing class!

  • Unfair fight....you cant arm bar that guy..

  • Однорукий...Реальный боец!

    Истинный Карп!

  • Comment removed

  • lol buddy had half an arm wtf

  • there's no striking in Aikido

  • @MktNinja There might not be any striking but it is best to learn striking to go along with it so you can have both.

  • @MktNinja You've heard of atemi, right? Despite what you may have heard, Aikido practitioners do use it.

  • in layman's term

Karate is "ill the break the fuck out of you"

Aikido is " get the fuck off me"

  • There is no aikido

  • that one arm guy has a pocket full off change

  • where is aikido here ??????

  • the good thing about watching this video is that i do both judo and karate

  • There's nothing remotely resembling aikido in this video.

  • Supposed Aikido guy is the guy with two arms

  • No Aikido here...

  • where is aikido in this scene? it seem a kick/karate match...bo!

  • there is no aikido in aikido you are just defensing no kicks

  • @beracribizli

Just because someone practices Aikido does not mean they cannot kick.

A style is not a restriction.

  • @D313370r but if you practice aikido you are not going to use that much of kicks you will use his strenght

    i trained aikido

    and got a black .1dan

  • @beracribizli

Actually, I do practice Aikido, and yes, I would not kick like that, but that does not mean other people who practice Aikido are physically unable to do so.

  • @D313370r no shit.

  • karate doesnt work in real life... Boxing does.

  • @TheFounderOfNothing It is not the style but the fighter that makes all the difference.

  • @TheFounderOfNothing boxing doesnt work in real life...Karate does.

  • @Ekeke98

just because it is not taught in aikido punching and kicking, does not mean they should not be kicked

  • @bl00dwaste BUT HE HAS ONLY TWO ARMS!!! I'd like to see you fight with only two arms.

  • @Ekeke98 aikido has kicks....

  • it looks more like muai tai vs some sort of karate ;P..

  • who the hell said aikido doesnt have kicks? :S lol

the guy with one arm is an aikidoka havent u seen him bfore

  • Aikido: The art of three limbs...

  • where is the aikido ?

  • obviously the one arm guy is better and

I can't believe he has one arm only but still tough. I guess most of the people wouldnt want to do martial art if they have one arm only.

  • that isn't aikido more like aikijutsu or somethin

  • Imagine if he had 2 arms! lol

  • THAT IS NOT AIKIDO!!!

  • ??? i dint know about aikido here , this fight looks fake

  • this no aikido !

  • SHIT one arm guy is good

  • Aikido with one hand left, nice jobs ^^

  • Euh ... Aikido ?!? ><

  • After he misses kick at 0:15 he perfectly dodges, parries two punches and trips him on the ground. that one arm dude is BOSS

  • @vampire622003 yes he fights good with only one arm but that wasn't a perfect dogde.. You never turn your back to the opponent and lose him out of sight, could've been critical if the other decided to throw a kick

  • @vampire622003 tbh he didn't trip him, guy just fell. But he's still boss :p

  • @vampire622003 the guy was off balance as he kicked, was hardly a tactical trip to the ground.

  • I could beat that bloke with one arm tied behind my back.......oh wait

  • This video: why to not kick over someones head in a fight

  • The dude with one arm is the Aikido fighter. I'm pretty sure I've seen him before in other Aikido videos.

  • @Cookin8709 You've got an interesting definition of "enraged". Also I never claimed to be, nor am I affiliated with the military. I'm just someone who knows their history. And the reason you find different variations of karate is because it is taught worldwide, and many masters of different body types, mentalities, and tactics have adapted the original okinawan technique to be more practical for themselves. It may look similar to aikido, but in technique, lineage, and philosophy they differ.

  • @Cookin8709 Now Okinawa is a part of Japan, but they haven't always been. Like I said, learn some history, you'll see what I mean.

Bottom Line= In lineage, technique, training method, and philosophy Karate and Aikido are completely different. And any idiot who classifies Karate as Aikido and Aikido as Karate does not know what they are talking about. Karate is a derivative of White Crane Kung Fu Techniques taught in Okinawa to fend off a shinto invasion. Aikido is koryu based. Read moar.

  • @superawesomejeff I agree 100%. You can even see a clear difference in the styles. Karate tends to have a lot more strikes and kicks in it, wheras aikido and it's cousins tend to favor throws and grappling a lot more.

I trained for a few years in both a japanese school of jujitsu, and an Okinawan Gojuryu school under Glenn Keeney. totaly different philosophies at work there.

  • @Cookin8709 You are on crack. Aikido is derived from Sumo Wrestling, Kendo, Daito-ryu Aikijujutsu, and Bayonet techniques O-sensei learned in the militairy. Karate is from Okinawa, Aikido is from Japan. The technique curriculum for Aikido is absolutely nothing akin to any form of Karate.

Hapkido is more similar to karate, but also derives technique from Daito Ryu Aikijujutsu.

    Learn more history n00b.

  • @superawesomejeff actually mate, Karate was created in China low profile. Then moved to Okinawa were it was given new technuiqes. Now Karate is known as a Japanese martial art because there was more moves created in Okinawa than in China. Wikepedia is not the best scource of research if you are a know it all. No dis respect.

  • @MrSambr lol... well sorry, but I did mention the White Crane lineage in another comment on this video. Aside from the lineage from that style i do not have any knowledge of when the techniques drifted away from White Crane and started becoming Karate, being before or after going to Okinawa. My bad. My initial point, which is even further proven by it coming from China, still stands. Aikido is not Karate, Karate is not Aikido. The only thing they have in common is that they are both martial arts

  • Aikido is the guy with 1 arm

  • what is it with one-armed aikido men on here!

  • aikido???

  • @Cookin8709 No! They are totally different arts. Aikido developed from Daito-ryu but Karate was developed from Kungfu. Their philosophy and style are not the same.

  • The person watching in the background saying that every good strike is related to Aikido ... is the only Aikido you will ever find in the ring

  • só eu notei mas um dos carinha não tem um braço??

    One hand?! oO

  • there is no Aikido in this video

  • this is not an aikido.

  • Gayyyyyyyyy

  • @Cookin8709 Aikido is not a form of karate, something totally different.

  • ok?...uhmm....which one of the is useing Aikido.....Aikido doesn`t usually use kicks.

  • that guy with one arm killed Dr.richard kimbles wife

  • Ground fight much?

  • This is not Aikido

  • Wtf, why post vids with a one armed man?

  • @korbin420 because him and his one arm can kick your ass!

  • Although, it is impressive that one of the guys has only one hand.

  • Both these guys are some kind of karate. I don't see any aikido.

  • there is no what so ever of aikido in that clip at all

  • where is the aikido?

  • one arm is that the style of aikido. it must be is it just hidden up in there? i need to look this stuff up. must be the same guy need to look at the last video

  • one arm is that the style of aikido. it must be is it just hidden up in there? i need to look this stuff up

  • shit !

that one arm dude was heavy rep

  • change the title to : a guy being pwned by an one arm guy

  • Like others have pointed out, the guy with one arm is not strictly doing Aikido, so the title of the video is null and void.

  • @sbowesuk

he still has one arm....and it's still valid considering most ignorant people think that aikido cannot be integrated into other fighting styles correctly because it's "fake." whether this is pure aikido or aikido combined with other martial arts (clearly the latter), this guy still proves it is very useful

  • ou est- le aïkido ici?

  • In what world is any of these two guys doing aikido??? This is not aikido no matter what form of it you have in mind!

  • Huh? There is no aikido in this video whatsoever? Aikido does not involve any kicks or punches, it's about taking the force of the attacker and redirecting it to a) avoid getting hit, and b) ideally avoid hurting the attacker. As for those who dismiss it and say it isn't a martial art, get over yourselves.

  • more like 2 arms vs 1

  • 116 knows aikido.

  • Why do nearly all Aikido vids on youtube claim Aikido vs ...then they rattle off some ACTUAL martial art like Judo, Karate, Wrestling, Boxing etc etc .... then you watch the video and all it is one of the Aikido goofs dressed in said MA unifrom and he literally is tossing himself around trying to put over the "Aikido blackbelt" (aka pro wrestling BS). To me it is very disrespectful towards the legitimate Martial arts of the world. Put some faggot in a black dress in my dojo and he gets hurt!

  • @DOBERMAN7203 aikido is an actual martial art and its not a dress its tradition wear in fedual japan

its disrespectful to the martial art world if the person portraying the art cant do it

  • @boxingninja1 Well that's no karate guy I promise you. That's an aikido guy posing as a karate guy and put the aikido art over and that's disrespectful to karate.

  • @DOBERMAN7203 well believe me thats no aikido idk wat he is

  • これは合気道じゃない

  • Man, this is Stump-Fu...

  • True Aikido has no rules, because in a real defense situation limiting yourself is a really big weakness. If you have to poke them in the eyes to protect yourself, you fucking do it.

  • pure aikido--- imagine him with twoo arms!!!!!

  • this is aikido

  • @ aikidoisthebomb.

you're name can only suggest you train in aikido aswell.

true whilst we do not have strictly offensive attacks, we can , and usually do incorperate palm strikes to the jaw and or strikes to the head and body within a defensive tecnique.

Or at least that is how we are trained to defend.

  • @evkero , regarding your comment about aikido only working on small children with down syndrome i can only conclude 2 things, 1. you're an idiot

and second you've never tried aikido.

i myself train in aikido and i can tell you now, im neither small ( at 6ft in height) nor do i have downs syndrome, and my sensei 9 in her 70's0 can throw me around quiet happily all day.

So yes , it does work, it also works in a street situation , a green belt at my dojo was jumped by 5 people and took them on

  • Some commenters seem to have missed a basic point about "styles": they are styles of training, but not styles of fighting.

Bruce Lee said, "I do not believe there is such thing as, like, a Chinese way of fighting or a Japanese way of fighting... or whatever way of fighting, because ...unless a human being has three arms and four legs, there can be no different form of fighting."

So the Aikido guy is using his Aikido training, even though you can watch the vid and not see "Aikido."

  • thats not even fair anyone else notice that the one guy only had one arm

  • Of course its not aikido! real aikido only works against small children with down syndrome.

  • of course it's not real aikido... real aikidoka do not have offensive attacks and do not train with resisting opponents...

  • what a minute that guy has on arm but more important where is the aikido?

  • no is aikido -.- !

  • Not aikido

  • aikido ?

  • the other guy doesnt have a arm i just noticedthat

  • однорукий бандит!

  • Course it's not real Aikido. Not real karate either. Sport version of both. Original intention self protection gnst mainly untrained street attackers. Aikido was avoid, neutralise, leave; karate, do damage, quickly; leave. Gd advice today. UFC - As real as it gets? No it's not - real is as real as it gets. Totally different. Aikido guy would go home before trouble starts, unless really have to fight; karate guy too. Disagree, then disagree with all covert military groups world wide too.

  • this is not aikido

  • not even CLOSE to Aikido aikido fighters are much more defensive and would not want to bring the fight to ground work/wrestling they would put the opponent in to a submission

  • no its not aikido

  • The One-Armed Aikidoka.

  • as I can see, most fighting situations eventually lead to wrestling and ground work => without rules, judo n jujutsu r the best martial arts.

  • This isn't aikido what is it!!!!!

  • Are their names 'Karate' and 'Aikido' ? Thats the only thing that would make the title of this video true.

  • WHY DO I KEEP SEEING PEOPLE FROM AIKIDO WITH ONLY ONE ARM!?!?!?!?

  • He could have easily done many of the techniques with only the one arm...to say he can't is to limit him, something Aikido is not about if one applies Ki and one point (both fundamental principals of Aikido). He is probably using a very martial style, focused on combat and adapted for competition - something Aikido was never supposed to be used for. I recognized attacks and pins from a lot of judo as well in his moves.

  • People here who say that's not Aikido are probably thinking of cool and "gentle-looking" Kata... You guys should consider a few things (at least this is my opinion): 1- the Aikidoka has only ONE arm, this means that most of the typical Aiki techniques cannot be performed; 2- Aikido is not meant to be sport, it's a self defence system, the video is a rare case of trying to use it in competition. 3- Atemi (striking), despite being exagerated in Kata, is part of Aikido.

  • тупой бред

  • same guy disable.

  • BADASS!

  • eso no es aikido, not aikido

  • if the Aikido Vs. MMA video is of the same guy, it is aikido, its Te-Katama shomen uchi, which is aikido, but a very basic, combat esque style.

  • the guy with one arm look's like my uncle

  • nice he fight with only one arm? i love it!

  • dude only has one arm.

  • @witegetobro He swung the other one too, would have landed some vital shots imo

  • wtf??? i just see armless aikidokas lol this is the fourth in the day.

  • Doesn't look like aikido.

  • where is Aikido??

  • where is Aikido??

  • @MrStrimex one arm man aikido... try to learn my friend...

  • @MrStrimex mainly japan, but you can find aikido dojos in the US... its hard to find one that actually focuses on reallife applications though... most american made aikido dojos are made for hobbyists and people intrigued by the art..

  • @MrStrimex

    maybe they are nicknames?

  • yeah thats true this is so not aikido lol an aikidoka would never kick an opponent like that still a funny movie though :)

  • Title wrong

  • lol where is his other arm! 1 armed guy wins!

  • Looks like muay thai or however its spelled

  • this is not Aikido Nooooooooo the 118 guy he try to apply ju-jutsu arm bar =)

  • Thats called cripple beating your ass

  • It was mention seven months ago that it's not aikido and it's still not changed so I will flag this for a false title

  • more like gay sex

  • that's not aikido at all. wtf who named this

  • hehehe knocked your ass down with 1 and half arm.... very very shameful. lol

  • 116 is awesome, one hand only...

  • this karate vs. karate ppl are just putting aikido in every martial arts vid title to get more views

  • Eso no parece Aikido

  • aikido masters wear the gi top but wear the black skirt and belt I believe.

  • Not aikido

  • The dude has one arm....

  • @cgerber87 the sign of a warrior, and a warrior defeat, must of lost the arm in a duel..

  • while everyone argues about whether this is or is not Aikido, I would like to say that this man has excellent martial spirit and I think that we should use him as an example of excellence in the face of physical limitation! :D

  • this is not aikido nub

  • is that the drummer from def leopard?

  • MGA PAKENG SYET MO!!!
