@LeoMessi42 The *GIANT* panda has been linked to the ursidae family by phylogenetics but we're not talking about them, are we?
And as red pandas and giant pandas are two different species, sharing a name only because panda means "bamboo eater" - the point is irrelevant.
Red pandas are living fossils. It's generally accepted at the moment they're more related to the procyonidae family than anything else but taxonomically, they've been hard to pin down.
@LeoMessi42 Actually, if you looked at the phylogenetics of its taxonomy you'd see that the last common ancestor of it had with the bear about forty million years ago.
You're acting as if it hasn't been studied and that nothing is known about it.
And really, I can declare its not a bear if all the existing evidence indicates it is not.
Also, your nonsensical assertion about 100% is churlish. I never said that and only someone with no understanding of science would demand such certainty.
@ProphetTenebrae ok man i get ur point. According to ur last sentence YOU have no understanding of science because you wrote so sure that for 100% its not a bear. And btw Im leaving it now and deleting all my comments
