Hmm... I just tried it, it usually just passes through Exdeath if done during his teleport, or he's able to evade it after I bait his HP attacks. Why don't you tell me how it's done and I might make a vid out of it. :D
the AI seems to have 2 kind of teleports, one is he's just trying to move near you, and the other one is to counter your HP attack (offensive tele).
While Xdeath is doing nothing, press square an hold it. Once pressed, Xdeath will automatically use his teleport to counter your move. He will attempt to use his teleport to attack. Release the square button if the circle of tele is in range of your slash move. It is effective on ground. Using the same move/tactic while airborne doesn't work.
there is actually a faster way doing it with Jecht. It is by using the first skill you used on this video.

Use the AIR "ORA ORA ORA" move, when he teleports. He teleports on top of your swinging, and get's caught in the blade fest.
That's how I did it.
