  • I think you can do it without getting stung... You pluck the leaf only touching the underside and kind of roll it up, then stick it between your back teeth, and chew it up between your teeth...

  • The best part is the flower, and after they wave flowered most of the sting is gone

  • thats a guy

  • yes those are nettles she is eating. and they seem to have lowered her voice a bit too!

  • He's eating the stinging nettles but touches them with gloves. Thats not manly at all!

I used to forage the nettles ( among others ) with my bare hands...it only stings at the beginning, plus its good for your blood circulation ( Arthritis )

  • Is that Sally Struthers?

  • its the stalk that stings not the leaf so its not that bad

  • @TheRealDealSeal90 Well the leaves actually sting as well...but your right the stalk has much tougher stings and "hurt" much more.

  • Lmao at the thought of someone smoking this like weed..

  • Oh that's wonderful, you gotta torture yourself to get the really good stuff! I just watched a video where a guy was saying to "taco it" and I guess you don't get stung so much. I didn't think you could eat nettle at all if it stings.

  • What an ugly chick..she almost looks like a boy.

  • those are stinging nettels he said it on the video.

  • pinch the leaf from underneath up like a taco to crush the nettles on top, then your ready to eat.

  • ive never tried eating it but ive rubbed it so the leaved rip and curl on my arms and i jsut felt like a normal leaf, ill half ot eat some next time

  • That's gotta hurt like shit. That stuff is rough,

  • there are a leafy, perrenial plant found in North America and Europe, generally in wet areas. Stinging nettle has tiny barbs on it that contain a toxin, resulting in pain and inflammation when touched. However, it is edible and high in many vitamins/minerals

  • i'm having nettle tea RIGHT now...added lemon to it...tastes...interesting...

  • I love that guy!

  • yeah, make sure you wear gloves, because you wouldn't want to get stung on your hands when you put that shit in your mouth.

  • dum noob

  • Steamed netts are lovely but this is nothin i ate a bunch of stingers and i had to go to hospital

  • Steamed nettles are a great green.

If stinging nettles don't sting, you may have been affected by too much sun. Touch them again in the morning.

I think they are good indicator and stimulator of the cell-mediated side of the immune system.

    Sort of like DNCB.
