  • The song is upbeat however I feel sad when I hear this. I don't know why.

  • j"adore !

  • Wow...Those were the days in French

  • Dalida, Dalida, Dalida .. on t'oublira JAMAIS .... qu'elle belle chanson ...

  • Avez- vous vu la version de cette chanson d'Ivan Rebroff "Takie dnih"? Il chante avec un accent, mais il a de la charme russe.

  • This was an original Russian folk song. Who made the 1st translation, Dalida or Mary Hopkins?

  • @brotherjohn25 you asked this a year ago so i'm guessing you got the answer, but in case you didn't; mary hopkins sang it first. paul mccartney produced the english version & had it translated into 4 languages including this one afterward.

  • @alfcab Nope, I didn't get the answer. Just now. Thanks.

  • @brotherjohn25 It is an old Russian song, which is probably originally a Gypsy song. Search for "Дорогой длинною" here - there are tons of clips. And the French version is not a translation, the words are totally different.

  • dalida is great. after dalida and vicky leandros, nathallie cardone is the third to sing it professionally and nicely
