she has epistasis incorrectly done, epistasis is a gene at one locus that alters the phenotypic expression of a gene at a second locus, in other words meaning that one gene controls the other not masks, for example; one gene can measure the pigment while the other measures the pattern that it is placed or if it is placed at all.
