Something in tourism is all i can suggest without knowing your skill set. Also, so much depends on the area . Really need to go to there, research what is needed and start that. Could be a laundry service, go kart track, silk screen t-shirts. Each area and each person is different. Sorry, i am not more help :(

My wife's mom in her 70's has some land in Bohol in Panglo she inherited from her parents. all the siblings are fighting for this land Do you think there is a way to get this land titled around how much$ they are doing it the filipino way not like a closer like you any advice

@ccw1776I can understand why they are fighting over that land, Panglao is a top spot and property there is potentially worth big money. Sounds like a nightmare though, sorry to say. Unless they can agree WHO will control / develop / market the land then a lot of time and energy will be wasted. If your mother in law had clear title in her name then things will be easier, if not....... :(

many great points. I have heard of lots of the same stories about people trying to open bars as well in the Phils.
Still possible if you do your homework, and trust no one. lol

very informative .like any other place you need to do your homework before you plan something.Survey the area and get second third even fourth opinions .very risky.Im very lucky to have married a filipina she takes care of me and very savy oriented on business.
