My Malibu would go to the cabinet where we stored his supplies, bark once, turn and face the cabinet. We then knew it was treat time, time for the evening tv watching snack. lol

BTs rule. anything else is just a dog.

** Thanks for all the really nice comments about my little buddy, and his habit of ringing. We actually just made a point to ring this bell every time he went out. And, in just a couple of weeks, he started nudging the bell...and soon was full on ringing it. BT's pick up things like this so quickly...he's our little hero! :)

Omg i used to have a boston...he was the sweetest and smartest dog in the world unfortunatly he died a while ago due to intestinal blockage...he was sooo sweet but he was very protective!

you know whats funny, we didn't actually even teach him per se, we just had some x-mas bells hanging on the door, and being so desperate to get our attention just kinda started doing it. Hang some on a doorknob and see what happens, they are clever lil fellas =)

i taught my boston to do that too, now it gets so enoying because whenever he wants to go outside and run around he rings the bells so now we don't know if he really has to take a crap or go outside and play. its like peter cryed wolf

Does your Boston drag himself on the ground all the time?I had a Boston that did that and it turned out she had 3rd generation mange and we had to put her to sleep so we got Bandit.
