Justin, the comment you made regarding the pedestrian is so true. People in Toronto are so accustomed to hearing sirens that they think nothing of walking and/or running in front of emergency vehicles while responding to calls. It used to be a huge problem at Yonge & Eglinton when I worked there (1995-2006). Many tmes I was forced to slow down for pedestrians who would saunter across the road in front of us. It amazes me that we only hit one per year (on average). We killed one in Parkdale 2007
@46fd04 apparently, the people who walk in front of emergency vehicles werent taught properly when they were little.."remember, look both ways when crossing the street and if u see a big red truck with lights flashing and siren blaring, stop and wait for it to pass"...thats what every parent should teach their kid..
@usmcwarrior94 If your reply is a serious one, I have to disagree. People just don't give a shit, period. Just last night at work, we were responding to a call, and a pickup truck full of kids (3 in the cab and four in the rear box) passed us on the right, veered in front of the truck and slammed on the brakes, laughing at us. After a complaint to Toronto Police (I got the licence #, a Cop took a report), I bet they weren't laughing anymore...
Hey yeah im 100% show that this was the station used in the filming of the tv show.
I know who your talking about. I think she was operating the tower truck at the time but im not positive. I seen her driving the tower truck before a couple times. I met the other girl that was on the show that was trying to get a job with the toronto fire services. She is at station 345.
The truck in bay was a spare ladder truck. I guess they were just keeping the spare there to give more space to toryork.
it was called "fire station" it use to show on global and court tv. No i checked its not on youtube i cant find it anywhere on the internet. I have a couple epidsodes on cassette i might try to upload them but it might take me a while.
"Hey guys, how many firefighters can we fit in the bucket???"

Yeah, that looks like the same fire hall. I could be wrong though. I used to love watching that show. lol
I think the female firefighter from the show is now on the Tower (331) on Platoon A.
What truck is in the bay? The Mack truck
I know station 331 has a pumper, tower and Squad.
Was that a spare squad? Or Spare pumper?
